Liked: The room was so cute! there was so much space. And Giulia was very helpful! The breakfast is laid out and so you can wake up and help yourself to it whenever you like. The common area also allowed us to talk to other couples and socialize if we wanted to!

Disliked: Personal bathrooms would be good, but there are enough to go around for the few couples.

Liked: The most suberb place I have ever stayed in and I do travel a lot! The owner is the Queen of Hospitality, if the world were organised like her B&B, it definitely would have been a far better place to live in :)

Disliked: Maya left no negative feedback.

Liked: Awesome kitchen!! Tons of food for breakfast and you could always use the kitchen to make your own food. Homey feeling.

Disliked: Only bad part of our stay was when the front door was unexceptedly locked on the morning we were leaving and another guest had to help is get it open; just a fluke though we would still definitely recommend this place!

Liked: Assolutamente eccezionale la cordialità dello staff, massima cura nei dettagli della struttura,colazione abbondante e per tutti i gusti,centralissimo e facilmente raggiungibile a piedi dalla stazione.

Disliked: Assolutamente nulla, tranne la maleducazione e l'inciviltà di alcuni altri ospiti, ma non è certo colpa della struttura!

Liked: this is an appartment so you really get to know the rest of the guests, the breakfast is good, and there are computer and kitchen avialable all night and day long, the ratio bathroom-no. guests is good i think

Disliked: it was difficult to get to it, they should announce better, however, a tip... is next to the hair dresser and is a building of normal departments, look at the bell to know where to ring

Liked: The Castelvechio is such a nice place! I just felt like home in that place! Giulia is so nice person! Very prestative and careful! The location is great just 20 minutes from the trainstation by walking and just few steps from arena!

Disliked: Sérgio left no negative feedback.

Liked: Fantastic location - we doubt you could find any better considering how well priced the B&B is. We rarely saw anyone at the hostel so it was great for us but definitely not the place to stay if you want to meet people. It appears that there are only 3 rooms in the entire B&B. Very clean, good sized rooms and hot water available all times.

Disliked: Not a complaint however we weren't able to book a double room so we booked a twin room hoping to just push the beds together. This wasn't possible as beds are 'top-to-toe' so keep this in mind if you're wanting a double room. No other issues with the B&B.

Liked: What an amazing little B and B and a great host who could not do enough for her guests! (even waited in when she was meant to be going out because we were about 5 hours late). Don't stay anywhere else if you are visiting Verona, you won't find better. Lovely rooms and bathrooms, free towels and WIFI, coffee, breakfast and use of the kitchen (very useful, cooked enough for 4 with wine for about 7 Euros total from the supermarket around the corner). The Arena is about a 2 minute walk from the property and Verona is generally very small so don't worry about location, I can't see that you could get any more central without renting an apartment (££££££!). This place was easily THE BEST place we stayed on our 3 week backpacking trip around Europe!

Liked: Very comfortable and clean. Everyone was so nice and it felt like home. The rooms were beautiful and breakfast was good. Giulia is a wonderful host and helped us plan our adventures. Would definitely stay here again.

Liked: I loved everything about this hostel! The people running it were extremely helpful and friendly, and the hostel itself was so charming and wonderful. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of food for breakfast as well as coffee, tea, juice, and much more. The beds were extremely comfortable and big (and since we stayed in October, it was very nice that it was nice and warm in there!). The room we stayed in was very big and accommodated my friend and I very well. The location was absolutely wonderful as well. It was a 3 min walk to the main Piazza, about 8 min to Juliet's house, and had many shops, restaurants and cafe's along the way. I can not say enough good things about this hostel. I will absolutely go back here the next time I go back to Verona!

Liked: Excellent location to the train station and city centre. Also a supermarket just around the corner came in handy when we decided to stay in and cook. Owner was very friendly and gave us a quick run down on the attractions.

Disliked: located in a side street, which could be easily missed when looking for it the first time.

Liked: The appartment was in an amazing location in the centre of Verona. It was clean and tidy and very homely! There was access to a computer and internet as well as use of the kitchen/seating. The woman who checked us in was really helpful, she recommended a fantastic traditional Italian restaurant for dinner as well as giving us directions to a viewpoint over the city that had some truly beautiful views. Having the relaxed appartment atmosphere was nice and very friendly.

Disliked: We got a little bit lost on the way, but found our way fine in the end.

Liked: Extremely nice and cosy. It is a private apartment so it made guests feel like home. You can see that the owners put in a lot of thoughts in decorating the place to make it welcoming. The cleaner (guy) in the morning was nice and friendly. The owner (Juliet) provided good advice on visiting Verona and all the practicalities, e.g. supermarket. Extremely good location - 5-10 mins from the Verona Roman theatre.

Disliked: The double bed room we stayed in was good but the bed was EXTREMELY squeaky. Even a twist and turn in the bed created such a loud squeak. Not ideal as just a turn or tuck of duvet created noise, keeping my partner and I awake nearly all night. The other slight disadvantage was that there were 2 bathroom (shower + toilet) for 4 rooms. It is ok, but would be better if there was one additional one. There was also no hot water for shower on the first day of our stay. Maybe someone flicked a switch but on the second day there was hot water.

Liked: Central location, well equipped kitchen, there were maps and books in the hall about sights, very friendly owner, clean house. It was possible to leave our stuff in the house before official check-in.

Liked: The host was lovely. Maria provided plenty of information about Verona on our arrival and gave us alot of good advice we would otherwise not have received. The self-serve kitchen not only made breakfast time completely flexible, but the design and furnishing of the kitchen creates a lovely atmosphere in the BnB. Very relaxing start to the day

Disliked: There were four issues that left an overall negative impression of this BnB. Firstly, the doors (particularly our bedroom door) creaked VERY loudly - which is disturbing to everyone. Secondly, the bed frame also creaked horribly with every movement and the mattress sagged in the middle - the whole bed needs urgent replacing and shouldnt be used in the current condition. Thirdly the water heating system in the apartment is chaotic and oscillates wildly from hot to cold, which makes showering a battle of the will. However we told the hostess of these problems so hopefully they will be resolved asap. Our last issue was with the outisde noise of the street. Even with all the windows closed (and no aircon! Stinking hot!) the street noise is unbelievable. Of course one might expect high street traffic due to its semi-central location, and the hostess is unable to change that, but, let this be a warning to you. Unless you are a very heavy sleeper, your sleep will be disturbed at all hours.
