 Everything! The location was beautiful, the dinners cooked delicious. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

If you don't mind the up to an hour it takes to get from the hostel to Venice city center and the additional cost of the boat (which with a 3-day card isn't too bad), this is a great place to stay. In a peacefull location away from tourist-choked Venice, with clean rooms and friendly staff. I actually rather enjoyed the daily boat commute.

the people and stuff were amazingly friendly and willing to help!!! the place itself was very sweet and homely, very clean and with a family like atmosphere, u felt more like a guest at someones house!!! very recomended!!!!

I really enjoyed borrowing a bike to ride to the boat stop. The room was very clean, the breakfast was ample, the people were very helpful. The location was beautiful and restful after being in the city during the day. I didn't want to leave.

The hotel was on a whole a lovely place to stay . . . the phrase "cheap & cheerful definately comes to mind. The staff were so helpful. They kept the kitchen open late so our friends and their children could eat. And it was nice home cooked food aswell. The gentleman who runs the hotel even picked us all up on our arrival at the waterbus. This place would be buzzing in high season I reckon. Its only 15 minutes from Venice on the waterbus aswell. THIS PLACE IS A GREAT ALROUNDER . . . .NOTHING FLASH JUST A CHEAP, CLEAN, FRIENDLY PLACE TO REST YOUR WEARY HEAD. ITS LIKE STAYING AT YOUR AUNTIE'S HOUSE . . . . A LITTLE BIT DATED BUT VERY FRIENDLY WITH GOOD FOOD..

It was very clean, the staff very helpful, it was in very beautiful surroundings and it was easy to get to Venice proper. Although it takes c. 25 mins on the vaporetto, I was glad not to be in Venice itself. Here you have the benefit of being able to visit the city, whilst also being able to relax in beautiful countryside.

The island it's on is very nice but a bit far from the main Venice island although very easy to get to. The building is relatively new and modern. Free bikes were available to ride around the island which was great!

its cheaper than other places in venice,,, since u=it is expensive all over venice.. ant the area was extemly beautiful.. but all long way from venice center where it all happens.. luckely there are boat ferries all trough the day and night to get you over to the other side...!! but it takes a while!!!
very romantic beautiful area.. a beach and nature... good if your looking for relaxing , peace and quiet:))

The place was awesome! On a gorgeuos island with pickup and drop off services at the waterbus station, great breakfast and great price! The only difficult is finding the waterbus station after 11pm bcz it changes stations...

Absolutely amazing, beatiful island, friendly, multilingual staff, they come and fetch you off the boat, family-friendly place... and they lend you bikes to visit the island! Also they do a very decent breakfast which is included in the price of the room :o) And there are no TVs - makes a nice change !!

The friendly staff and the peacefull location. Far away enough to have a good time there an dclose enough to enjoy venice. No problem at all to get to and fro.

A fantastic way to see Venice which is only 30 mins away by boat - you can see it shining across the water whilst you cycle through vineyards and orchards. Lovely island, lovely hostel.

Everything the hostel is excellent it's like staying in a hotel but paying the price of a youth hostel. The staff are so helpfull and there are all these special quirks available for free as well

The hostel was on a really lovely island about an hours ferry ride from Venice. The distance isnt a great problem as the islands lovely and you can borrow bikes and ride around the island. However, the staff were not friendly or helpful at all. They do pick you up from the ferry. If they didnt it would be a long walk. One thing we didnt like was that they checked someone into our room at 9am, when checkout was at 10am, and we were not ready to leave yet. The breakfast was ok. I would love to reccomend this hostel for its location and peacefulness, but the hospitality was very bad.

A wonderful place to stay, very clean, large rooms, a huge terrace. The breakfast was fine, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is beautiful -- the island is very green and one may rent a bike to ride around. The price is fair. However one should take into account that the way to the island and back costs 13 euros. But if you plan to go to other islands (e.g. Lido) or use 'vaporetto' you will have to buy a 24-hours card anyway (16 eu) which you may use to get to San Erasmo.

Very clean, Lovely surroundings, a beach nearby we could use. They supplied beach towels. Very relaxed atmosphere.
