Liked: Safe, quiet location. Very pretty setting away from the city itself, but close enough by boat. Free bike rental available.

Liked: Free bikes back and forth to the vaporetti, free breakfast. The island is off the beaten path (30 minutes from the north tip of Venice), but it's very authentically Italian.

Liked: This was honestly one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. They gave us a nice big breakfast and the facilities were nice. After the craziness of Venice in the day, it was actually nice to stay on a quiet island in more natural surroundings. I would recommend that anyone staying here get the 3 day unlimited boat pass, however, since it is costly to keep taking the boat back and forth. Also, make sure you eat dinner in Venice because the "Trattoria" down the street for this hostel really doesn't serve much food at all (all they offered were terrible paninis). Also, if you stay at this hostel take a free bike out for the day and actually explore Sant Erasmo, it's beautiful!

Liked: Everything here was perfect! All of the staff were incredibly helpful, we got free bicycles to ride around the island and to the ferry station, san erasmo is a wonderful retreat from the crowded touristy streets of venice, and it feels like a hotel but is still cheaper than most hostels I've stayed in.

Liked: there was a beach right next door. however you need to get 2 boats to get to the island and it costs 5euros each way which was a pain.
