Liked: Its location. St Erasmo is a lovely little island, way more relaxed than central Venice, but still close to it.

Liked: All Italians are lovely, the management of this place even more so than usual. Don't worry that it's a 20 minute boat ride from 'main' venice, as the boats are cheap and fun, plus the delightful delightful manager will pick you up from the nightboat in a little white bus, or lend you a bike. What a hero.Plus, i booked two beds in a dorm of 6, and we ended up with a twin which was the nicest room i had in Italy. It had a balcon.Breakfast is free and hearty.The best hostel in Italy.

Liked: location was a bit off the beaten track but the adventure getting too and from was different. Beautiful location and loved the bikes and cycling around the island.

Liked: its a nice place to stay, but very far out of the way. about an hour to get into central venice. some of the people there are very helpful, some aren't. the owner was very helpful. the island isn't as nice as i thought, a lot of swamps around, so mozzies during warm weather, not nice, and its far. otherwise, rooms are well kept, breakfast is pretty limited but provided. not a bad place for meeting people, but no real common room, or fun partying places. services are mostly provided, if not hard to get (like internet access). security is great. i would recommend it, the only thing that i dont like is the location, its too far.

Liked: We enjoyed the bikes they gave us to ride - they aren't in the best shape, but that was half the fun! The only inconvenience is having to work around the water taxi schedule, and the ride is half an hour.

Liked: Beautiful location on a little island right off of Venice. A bit far to get to but as soon as you see the island you know that it was worth it! Big rooms, nice view, nice staff!Loved our stay there!

Liked: Situated in quiet surroundings in venice`s vegetable garden.Nice to bike around and relax from the city.Friendly Staff. Small but ok beach for a short swim 300m away.

Liked: Absolutely pleasant and helpful staff - especially Emanuelle. Clean accommodation, filling breakfast, lovely surroundings.Great all in all. It was a pleasure to stay here. We will come back again...Need i say more?

Liked: The staff were very helpful and accomidating. They helped to fit all of my friends when their other booking got cancelled and they had nowhere to go. They came out to pick us up at the boat station at 12:30 in the morning, which may be standard but I was pretty impressed. Breakfast is free and filling. Absolutely an amazing deal for the money, and it´s nice to go somewhere quiet at night in Venice, even if it takes an extra 20 minutes to get there. Every room also had its own bathroom with a shower. It´s the simple things that make it great.

Liked: Great if you want to be away from the main part of Venice and relax. Very nice accomodations, but there is not much happening on the island of San Erasmos.
