Liked: The hostel was on a really lovely island about an hours ferry ride from Venice. The distance isnt a great problem as the islands lovely and you can borrow bikes and ride around the island. However, the staff were not friendly or helpful at all. They do pick you up from the ferry. If they didnt it would be a long walk. One thing we didnt like was that they checked someone into our room at 9am, when checkout was at 10am, and we were not ready to leave yet. The breakfast was ok. I would love to reccomend this hostel for its location and peacefulness, but the hospitality was very bad.

Liked: A wonderful place to stay, very clean, large rooms, a huge terrace. The breakfast was fine, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is beautiful -- the island is very green and one may rent a bike to ride around. The price is fair. However one should take into account that the way to the island and back costs 13 euros. But if you plan to go to other islands (e.g. Lido) or use 'vaporetto' you will have to buy a 24-hours card anyway (16 eu) which you may use to get to San Erasmo.

Liked: I spent only one night in this hostel and it was really hard to leave... Each person in the hostel are absolytely kind and helpful, and the owner especially. I stayed in a twin room and the room was more than a hostel room, very large, clean, well furnished. Island is beautiful. Hostel is very silent, peaceful. There are several bicycles you can take one wander around the island. It was a bit pity i could not spend more time in the hostel. I hardly recommend this hostel.

Liked: It was really nice, not far from the beach and a short bus boat ride from the city. It felt like a get away from the hustle and bustle of the main city and was really quiet and relaxing. I would stay here again when I come back to Venice. I really loved it there and the staff that worked there was extremely helpful and gave great information about things to do.

Liked: It was on a small island outside of venice, so you got to get away from the crowds. They had an outstanding resturant that served a 4 course dinner for a reasonable price, and breakfast was free.

Liked: The hostel was on it's own secluded island filled with beautiful flowers and plants. The location was relaxing and a nice getaway. We met some really nice people who we went to dinner with one night, and had some pizza. The owner of the hostel was very nice and spoke english which was awesome. He gave us maps and times of the boats, so we could accomplish everything we wanted to. The free breakfast was pretty good and the rooms were nice. Very clean bathrooms, sheets, and rooms. Would recommend going to! They has free bike rentals that you can ride around on the island with. Very fun and would go back again!

Liked: I adored this hostel. If you don't mind staying outside of Venice (which is noisy, dirty and incredibly expensive) then this is an excellent place. The island is a peaceful paradise of vineyards and farms. The staff at the hostel is very friendly, too.
