Liked: good location, friendly staff, rooms ok

Disliked: no possibility to lock stuff in room

Liked: Close to the trainstation. Clean and basic. Nice staff. Towells and linnen were included.

Disliked: Private bath was in the corridor. Lookout at 1.00 at night even though we had a private.

Liked: It is very nice and well located hostel. We really enjoyed our stay.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: It was close to the train station and to the Jewish ghetto which I liked since it was less touristy.

Disliked: The staff was rude, the wifi almost never worked, there was no common area, and each room had only one key so if you were not the first person back to the room at the end of the day you had to knock for someone to let you in. I would NOT recommend this hostel!

Liked: location, close to the train station and easy to catch the vaporetto (water bus) 1 or 2

Disliked: our room was clearly a double hotel room converted to a 5-bed hotel room, so there was really no room to move around in. it is very inconvenient to have only one key for the room that the last person leaving has to leave at reception.

Liked: One of the cheapest options right in the centre of Venice.

Disliked: The extra you pay for their better rooms it is not worth the money. I got a balcony facing the ugly back side of other buildings.

Liked: Great location.

Disliked: Dirty, dingy, dusty, overpriced, shared room is tiny with no personal space, no common room. It's basically just a bed. Don't plan to stay inside too long. Also there's a lockout from 10:30-2:00 but the maid frequently tries to get you out earlier.

Liked: It's very close to the train and bus station, and good for starting a tour around Venice, walking or on boat.

Disliked: Rooms are not so big as they would look like on the website and you have to return at 1.00 am, so if you're thinking about going out at night , it' not the best option.

Liked: Well-located, decent price, provided what we needed, good bathroom.

Disliked: It would have been nice if there had been a kitchen area, or at least a tap where you could get drinking water from. Also the bed was a bit hard.

Liked: This hostel was more like a hotel. No common area. I stayed in a four bed private with ensuite. The room and washroom was very nice, comfortable and clean. The hostel was safe. The hostel is located about 5 minutes from the train station. It is also possible to walk to the Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco.

Disliked: The only part I did not like about this place was the curfew at night, we ended up have to drink late at night in our hostel room.

Liked: Location was great. Price was pretty good for Venice.

Disliked: Inconsistent hot water. As in one day there wasn't any, and another day there was.

Liked: Very nice hostel. The bedroom was cleaned every day, and they even give us new towel everyday. Best hostel I ever stayed during my Italy trip. Of course, their room rate is more expensive compared to the other hostel, but I think, since its location also in Venice itself, staying in this hostel is valuing for the money you spend

Disliked: the internet connection was pretty awful

Liked: Beds were made everyday and the place was generally clean. Hostel is a few minutes away from the train station.

Disliked: Lugguage storage was not secure because it is at a common area that everyone can access. Room security was lacking as the receptionist had handed me the key immediately after i told her my room number without any verification. But that could be easily resolved if you bring your own locks and ensure that your lugguage is locked at all times.

Liked: Location was great! Especially from the Train Station and easy to get to from the airport. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Bathrooms were in the rooms.

Liked: location: Gino's, the jewish ghetto, the stalls, the train staion, the restaurants. On the greatest square, people watching and food was amazing around it. Book exchange was cool.

Disliked: Mosquitos. Mosquitos. Mosqiutos. Got eaten alive with the window open but too hot to keep closed. No hot water, too. Really needed a shower.

Liked: It was in a good location and did not have bunkbeds. There room had an adjoining bathroom.

Disliked: The key was shared between all the room residents, so you had to constantly check with the office (in another building) to ask if the key had been returned and then go to your room and knock. If someone had been in the shower when you knocked you wouldn't be able to get in. The room was very small as well, so that the two middle beds were almost touching, more like a double bed, which could be uncomfortable as it is a dorm room.

Liked: The room and bathroom were both very clean, and the location was great. It was nice that the hotel was so close to the train station, and yet within Venice itself. The wifi was also good.

Disliked: The main complaint I have is the key system. When you leave the hotel everyday, you leave your key at reception and when you come back you ask for your key back. It seems that it would be easy for anyone to ask for your key and gain access to your room. There was a safe in our room but it didn't seem to be working. However, I would still recommend this hotel to others, as it was a great location for what you are paying.
