Liked: Comfortable beds. (Ok) Breakfast included.

Disliked: The room was advertised as en-suite, but was not. The room (3 person, shared room) did not lock, nor was there any secure place for us to put our backpacks during the day.

Liked: It was especially clean and location was perfect! The hostel itself was quaint and the rooms were private and clean.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The top floor deluxe double room with private bathroom was quite characterful and worth paying a bit extra for as we were staying for a few days. Clean with helpful friendly staff. Great location.

Disliked: The pre-packaged breakfast was rather dry, tasteless and disappointing. The windows and doors rattled on windy nights making quite a lot of noise.

Liked: It is very clean and tidy, the staff is friendly and helpfull, and the locations is fantastic!

Disliked: The breakfast time is too short, just between 8 and 9:30. The kitchen can't be used anytime, just two hours for lunch, and two for dinner.

Liked: The building is gorgeous! Our room was clean and spacious as was the bathroom. It was really cheap so I'd definitely say it was good value.

Disliked: We arrived late at night and it was VERY difficult to find.

Liked: The private accomodation located on another building (No 3039) was clean. The bathrooms were also very clean and had running hot water 24 hrs.

Disliked: The street on which the hotel is situated is very noisy and the rooms being on the first floor every sound can be distinctly heard. The noises from the other room are also clearly audible and as we were travelling with a baby we had a bit of a problem because of guests returning very late in the night.

Liked: Excellent Location. I got a beautiful twin room bathroom insuit plenty of hot water. Looked newly renovated.

Disliked: Only one cup of coffee was allowed in breakfast .

Liked: Convenient location, fairly clean.

Disliked: It was extremely noisy, even closing all the shutters couldn't block out all the noise from people walking on the street below. Wouldn't recommend if you're a light sleeper. I booked a "private apartment" but in the end had to share bathroom with another room anyway, how is that "private"? Also due to being in the "private apartment" there was no wifi. Breakfast is awful, nothing is fresh, even toast came in packages.

Liked: The location was excellent.

Disliked: The Wifi did not work, and its not only me, many people have this problem and the landlord doesn't seem interested in fixing it.

Liked: The place was CLEAN and had a very non-hostel like feel to it. The staff was was very friendly and cooperative.

Disliked: The location was a bit of an issue. Since this was not centrally located, the water buses did not stop here 'early morning' or later in the evening...that caused a bit of concern since I got stranded a couple of times. But people are very friendly and they show you the way in case you feel lost in the narrow lanes.

Liked: the property is is in a great location and very easy to find if you arrive via the water bus from the station. it is very close to san marco and other major attractions like the accedemia and guggenheim collection. it was well mantained in terms of cleanliness, i was impressed with the keep up of the bathroom, the bed was comfortable and room not over crowded. the staff were very polite and friendly. there was no curfew and you could check in when you liked. the place has drawbacks but if you know what those are you can plan for them, overall it was pleasnt place to stay it's cheap for venice and centrally located.

Disliked: i was in a 3 bed dorm room and there were no lockers in the room and no key for the room door. so basically you had to take all your valueables with you as there was no secure place to leave them and and anyone could access the room at anytime. the internet did not work at all. i heard the staff tell people on many occasions that it 'would be fixed in the morning' but it never was. my room mates reported the same thing. i think it is likely that it was not even attempted and this was just the line they feed people, particulary after reading other reviews that had the same experiance. the breakfast is a bit random. basically a collection of pre packaged foods like toasted bread, crossiant, sponge cake and saltines with some nutella and strawberry jam. there is a choice of tea, coffee and juice but the coffee tastes like it has been brewed multiple times and is not great. it seems like a lot of food but isn't particulary filling or tasty. simple ceral would of been a better option, i feel. in terms of facilties the floor on which i stayed only had one bathroom (including toliet) for the whole floor so it could get a little busy. also the dinning room was quite small and there was often a que to wait for a seat.

Liked: Good value breakfast. Good sized rooms. Good location. Clean.

Disliked: Kitchen avaliable to use if self catering but lighting so poor we had to bring one of the lamps from our room to see what we were doing. Wifi was not working when we stayed. Staff computer was avaliable to use but we were never able to get on as the internet was so slow people took forever to use it. Staff were apologetic but useless at doing anything constructive. Very luckily we found a free hotspot in Venice to sort out urgent bookings.

Liked: Location, the Venetian building, friendly and helpful staff

Disliked: There were too few facilities for the amount of people staying ie toilet/shower facilities and not enough seating in the breakfast room - there were always people waiting to be seated.

Liked: Excellent central location, very quiet place . Possibility to use the kitchen to prepare our meals (Rialto or Dorsoduro market are quite close). Possibility to let our luggage in the hostel until we left Venice ou our last day.

Disliked: Breakfast ! why giving us such an industrial food when simple bread butter and jam would have been so better ?

Liked: I liked the location, the possibility to use the kitchen and the clean bathroom.

Disliked: Breakfast was bad. The only not pre-packed thing was a cup of tea. Though it was the only thing I did not like.

Liked: The location is fine and easily access to attractions.

Disliked: We couldn't get the internet in the room and the map is too small to find a road. The water bus runs at different timetable from the one during daytime and this should be notified beforehand as it is hard to find the hostel.

Liked: I liked this place! The location was pretty good - not far from St Mark's Square - and the rooms were clean and spacious. I booked the cheapest room there and got a room with only 2 beds, which was nice. I found the staff to be really helpful too - when I asked if there was an internet place nearby, the guy let me go ahead and use the office computer! Very nice guy.

Disliked: There are no computers available just for guests, so it was difficult to plan the next leg of my travels.
