Andrey AgafonovGood location: 3 min from a vaporetto stop, 5 min walk to San Rocco and Frari, 15 min walk to Rialto. Easy to find. The room was quite small and shabby but clean. No safe deposit. The breakfast was really frugal - coffee and a croissant |

Jennifer GerrettHotel Iris was really convenient to everything. It's about a minute walk from the St. Toma vaporetto stop, so that makes everything very easy. Our Room wasn't looking over/onto a canal but it did look out onto the street and the canal was right around the corner. Breakfasts are normal, just a criossant and some toast with jellies, etc., but it's great because the nice woman attending will give you a second serving of cafe or cappuccino if you really need it! Which my husband and I did! The front desk staff was quite helpful but the restaurant staff/service/options could have been a little better. Overall, for the price it was pretty good, but would recommend it for the location, cleanliness (although very very small rooms) and 24 hour reception. |

Customer reviewThe location was brilliant, just off the Grand Canal and but nice and quiet. The shared bathrooms were a little odd but clean. The staff spoke good english and were always friendly. We were however the youngest people staying, everyone else was 40 upwards and the breakfast was fairly simple (terrible tea!). |
