Liked: Quite clean hostel. Rest room big enough.

Disliked: We spent more than 1 hour tring to find it. Finally, at 1:30am we realized it was in a hidden door not shown in the map. We were really angry about that. Only because of that I wouldn´t come back.

Liked: I loved the location of the hotel. It was also very clean and apartment like. Towels, crackers and tea kettle were all provided in our stay. Great hostel!

Disliked: The building is old and creaks at night which is a little scary.

Liked: Excellent location, couldn't have been better, helpful staff, very clean, safe, obvious to find when u get there.

Liked: It was a nice clean property at the right location where everywhere was accessible. We could not find this place for over a couple of hours as directions can be pretty difficult to get in a place where very few people speak English but Staff was excellent, as one member actually pitied our situation and came and showed us in.

Disliked: The whole concept of property far from the registering office did not help. Plastic cups! No tea/coffee provided in a private en-suite. No hair dryer/ iron. Really lacking in amenities. No broadband. A television that did not work!

Liked: **this is based on my stay in a shared room** 1. loacation was great, only a couple minutes from the bus/train stations and major water taxi (and a co-op if you want groceries) 2. if you say you're new to venice she'll give you a detailed map and show you places to visit and how to get there 3. there are two LAN cables if you bring your own notebook (no wireless, no comps provided) 4. security door before you can get to you room and you have your own locker & key in the room. 5. fridge 6. linen & towels provided, linens are washed after you leave & room is mopped/cleaned everyday (i witnessed)

Disliked: directions on the website are a bit confusing considering how easy it is to find - from the bus station follow the river, cross over two small bridges and it'll be just ahead in the corner, look for "555" just to the left of the 'Canal Hotel'. from the train station cross the large bridge to the left, and go right along the river and look for "555" just before the 'Canal Hotel' (you won't cross any small bridges). **neutral** (for me) shower is short-ish as someone mentioned but i'm 5'8" and it didn't bother me. no common area to hang out/meet others. no kitchen. no breakfast.

Liked: spacious room.

Disliked: We had the twin ensuite, which had a awful shower. It's maximum height was 1.50 meter, it fell down all the time and the water was either burning hot or ice cold. It was very cold in the appartment and the heating was locked so we couldn't turn it on.

Liked: Rooms are not too crowded, bathrooms are clean, its not noisy, staff is always helpful, great location, free lockers in the room.

Liked: The check-in office is at a different location like the website said it would be. It was easy to find. You find the address and just go through the door. The office is situated inside. The girl there was very nice. She spoke english very well and gave us a very detailed map of the city (a $5 value!). She even gave us advice on where to good stores and restaurants were. The room wasn't where I thought it was, but it wasn't a big deal. It was about 20 mins from the train station. The room was perfect for what we needed. It was very cute and overlooked one of the canals. It was secure and quiet. I would recommend it.

Liked: The room was large and very clean and tidy.

Disliked: The directions given to the check in area of this hostel were shockingly bad. We had to use sat nav to find it and ask at the hotel nearby if they knew where it was.

Liked: 1 - good location if you stay for long time. 2 - Near big market easy to get food.3 - Quiet. 4 - Big refrigerator.

Disliked: 1 - Small room 2 - Small shower for huge people will be hard to fit. 3 - Overpriced if you compare to other hostels in other location. 4 - No Breakfast. 5 - Early check out 10 am. 6 - Main office located at other address far away. 7 - far away from mass transportation.

Liked: Very good location opposite the canal from the train station. Staff were very friendly, and the room and ensuite were always well cleaned. Free internet too.

Disliked: I had great difficulty finding the place, using the directions from Hostelbookers.com, considering the directions included making a u-turn and mentioned a different address to what was implied in the directions. Also the door wasn't labelled at all.Despite this, other people had less trouble, so it may have just been me. Wireless would have been nice, and comps weren't working, luckily I had a laptop

Liked: 1. Location.2. Room - big with fridge and kettle for coffee. Biscotti and jam for your bread.3. Bathroom - so clean and well kept.4. Security - I feel safe staying here as there is another security door to get by before you enter into your room. Everyone has a room key and locker key.

Liked: I Iiked the location, though the description to reach it was not succesful for me. It was a pity that we could hardly open one of our two windows, the other one could not be opened at all due to restaurationworks at our outside wall (early in the morning)Our room was okay, but we would liked having two chairs instead of one and some more light (suited for reading) near the bed.
