Liked: Good place, nice location, nice breakfast, overall good experience.

Disliked: No one was around when I arrived so had a bit of difficulty getting in touch (however I arrived a day late since flight was canceled, so perhaps this isn't exactly their fault).

Liked: Our stay at the hostel was really marvellous, it was such a great location, really close to the train station, not too close to rialto and san marco, so it wasnt too touristy (if you get that anywhere in venice), close to a supermarket and a beautiful piazza, right next to the canale grande and all the distances are walkable, we had a great room and lots of space and even a kitchen to use, very kind staff and we could go in and out whenever we wanted. There wasnt really anything more we could have asked for.

Disliked: Maybe the breakfast wont make you strong for the day, but hey - theres pizza everywhere.

Liked: Its a good place, it is near a lot of turistic places and its nice and clean. The breakfast was fine.

Disliked: It was realy cold in winter, because they didnt put on the heating.

Liked: The location is great, very convenient.

Disliked: The room was kind of dirty. There was a construction next to the bedroom. Wifi did not work in the bedroom sometimes. The bed frame was broken.

Liked: Nice location, and with nice view! And so close of the main station.

Disliked: It´s hard to find the hostel in the night because the little street it´s alittle dark.

Liked: We were spoiled by our suite in their secondary location - although it is meant to be a shared apartment, we had the whole place to ourselves! Fantastic and spacious, with a large balcony overlooking a smaller canal, and well stocked kitchen, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in (set the bar ridiculously high for the rest of our trip). Would definitely go back, Alex and Megan were great hosts, very friendly and able to offer lots of suggestions of things to do in Venice.

Liked: Close to central train station. Easy to find, considering the small streets of Venice

Disliked: One guy who worked at the reception isn´t that helpful, doesn´t seem like he wants to work at all. I managed to get into the hostel even though I have checked out & I have no key to access it, there wasn´t anyone who was there, so make sure you put everything in the locker.

Liked: with walkable distance for 15 mins from ST. Lucia station to hostel. they divided into 2 different building, one for sharing room basis & one for private room basis.. - private room basis, big enough with kitchen, bathroom, 3 bedroom but withot enought lighting... only few lamps in the living room can enjoy the canel view from window, room facility is excellent,

Disliked: no lift here. if the pax carrying with big & heavy luggage.. please consider well..

Liked: It's not your typical hostel, but so much better. The rooms are really cute, no ikea bunk beds, but individual beds in lower occupancy rooms. Right on the canal, amazing view from the front room. Best of all was the staff. They were really helpful for directions, advice on what to do, and overall friendly and fun!

Liked: Got lost trying to use internet directions, but the directions they provide are perfect. Great location close to the canal and the train station. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. I would stay here again anytime!

Liked: My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay here. We dont have a bad thing to say about it. The staff are so so friendly and helpful and the place is really lovely, right on the canal. Our booking was a bit of a mix up and when we booked somehow we got the delux private double room for the price of a dorm and L'Imbarcadero honored our booking and didnt charge us any extra. Also, we got to Venice quite early so they let us store our luggage in the hostel until our room was ready so we could look around. We definately recommend staying here!

Liked: Room was quite large and clean, very good instructions on how to get to place from train station

Disliked: Some discrepancies in booking - Got a private bedroom as booked but had to share a bathroom + had to move to another building altogether from the check in point; no heat in both the room and the water in bathroom (making it extremely difficult given cold weather),

Liked: great beds (no bunks), great staff, very clean, great kitchen, very easy to meet people, great location and great prices!! Breakfast is free - is very squishyamericanbread-y, but its free, so go for it! The atmosophere is fantastic, which is good, because there is nothing to do in venice in winter at night except hang around with new buddies.

Disliked: was a bit cold in winter, but venice isn't known for its insulation, so it is not the owner's fault!! Lockers would be great, but security is otherwise very good (1st floor, strong door, not many beds, good vibe etc.)

Liked: Breakfast was good, included fruit and yoghurt and croissants plus the standard cereal and toast etc. Easy to find (which is a miracle in Venice). Staff were super friendly, even offered me a couple euro when I was short on a bus fare when leaving!

Disliked: Quite pricey but I suppose thats standard for Venice. I was lucky though I happened to book when there was a discount offer, otherwise don't think I would have booked.

Liked: I arrived late and forgot to tell the hostel, but they kept my reservation. The place is very nice. Cozy. The staff was also very helpful.
