Liked: We were put in private rooms in the heart of Venice at a very affordable rate. While Venice is a labyrinth and almost impossible to navigate, the guy at the front desk is an expert at drawing maps from memory. We could ask him how to get to anywhere in the city and he could draw us a map on how to get there, complete with street names and where bridges and canals are.

Disliked: It was kind of difficult to find the hostel once we got off the ferry, even though the directions are spot-on. You just have to be very observant on street names. Also, they did not provide us with breakfast.

Disliked: Que la escalera es muy grande. Un solo baño y no tiene desayuno ni cocina para lo que pagamos 33 euros la noche por persona.

Liked: Location! Location! Location! Just 4 brigdes to St Mark Square, located on quited, great equpped street. Excellent cafee - Bragora, shops with normal prices and trotatias.

Liked: Great location. About a 5 minute walk to San Marco. It's a great price!Just beware...lots of stairs to climb.

Liked: they had their rooms in different two buildings.. mine was a little bit far from their office.. everything was fine until late night.. (although everytime we've used water some machine made big noises and the place wasn't really clean.. )some guy came into the room and said that my bed was his.. then the staff came to me and told me that I should get off the bed and go to another room.. he almost screamed at me.. I refused, of course, I was all settled down.. then he came again and told to another roommate that she hasn't been resistered.. almost screamed again..but it turned out to be that everything was their fault.. they hadn't wrote down her name.. so silly and unpleasant experience..

Liked: We got upgraded from a small two single beds rooms to a very nice apartment because they overbooked. The staff gave us a lot of good recommendations (e.g. Food places, internet cafe, etc.)

Liked: Without the map they emailed me upon confirmation, it would have been difficult to find. The hostel has excellent rooms (we booked a private triple, it was as nice as a hotel) and looks out on an adorable street with a cafe and some shops (not touristy). If you are looking to be near the sights in Venice, perhaps something closer to the center (near Rialto) would be better. The boat ride from the train/bus stops, down the grand canal, to the hostel is long.. the hostel is pretty much at the far end of the sights youll want to see, though it is just 3 minutes from S. Marco square. We checked in at 23:30, no problems. After that, I would confirm you could checkin, as Im not sure anyone is there. Also, there are many flights of steep stairs to get to the reception & rooms.

Liked: Nice and beatyful hotel/hostel. Room was small bur well equipped with nice wide bed for two persons. Few rooms have own private toilet, I shared one toilet with another room. Staff ok. Nice breakfast place down on the street that serves coffee and croissants for reasonable price.

Liked: The best thing of this place is its location- just few minutes walk to San Marco square and one minute to main treadmill, next to the see.

Liked: We got "upgraded" because the manager overbooked. I sure hope that was not an upgrade because we would have been horrified had we gotten something even worse. The room smelled terrible, the beds probably haven't been replaced since venice was built and the heater was broken, so we froze the first night. However, one night I was locked out and the night manager let me sleep in another free (nicer) room until my roommate came back. Nice staff.

Liked: It's quite far from the station! It took more than an hour (including confusion time) to figure it out. But, it's really close to San Marco Plaza.

Liked: Great location, no real facilities (no internet, no kitchen - although there was one in plain view that had a 'do not enter' sign, no living area).Was a lot cheaper than anything else we could find, and would recommend for this and the location.
