Liked: The entrance is probably the nicest thing about it.

Disliked: Despite the nicely decorated entrance hall, the upstairs of the hostel (in particular the "lobby") were not all that nice. Smelled a bit damp, and the sheets smelled weird. The (single) communal bathroom is not well located, and you have to walk past the receptionist to use it. Towels are claimed to be included, but only if you have an en-suite, otherwise you have to pay for a bath towel. Having left the window open to air the place out a bit, we were woken up several times during the night to buzzing around our ears. When we woke up the next morning, we found bites a plenty and one very guilty mosquito. My boyfriend promptly made away with the rascal. Bite me again will they?! But alas, they did. And thinking that we had got rid of them all, awoke the following morning to more mosquitoes and more bites. And I still have some now. Itchy.

Liked: The guy working there was nice, enough.

Disliked: Only one bathroom and I had a shower in it, so if all you need to do is pee but someone is showering, you're out of luck. The guy working was on the Internet, but when we asked if there was wifi he said no!!!?!?!? The room was very basic and offered absolutely nothing extra.

Liked: The price and the location are the best assets it offers.

Disliked: The staff and the paper walls... You can hear the people in the other room breathing when they are sleeping. I had a baby which cried all nights at 6am.. I was so damn angry all the mornings with this...

Liked: They gave a free upgrade to a private room which was nice but it was in a different location from the rest of the hostel

Disliked: All the showers were broken and quite cramped the rooms were really small too!

Liked: Friendly staff, espetially Jonatha. Very good location, quiet but central. Clean bed linen. Spacious room (private bathroom). Good view.

Disliked: Quite shabby, some of equipments doesn't work. High, narrow and steep stairs (reception is on the 2 floor).

Liked: Only the location

Disliked: It was very uncomfortable, the bathroom smelt of sewage water, it was also located just by the front desk so everytime I needed to use the bathroom I had to walk through the main foyer, past the arriving guests in my bathrobe - not ideal. The bed sheets smelt bad. I was kept awake all night by the sound of mosquitos which attacked every inch of my body. The staff were not friendly.

Liked: NOTHING, especially not the staff and lack of cleanliness!

Disliked: Everything! When we arrived we were put in an outbuilding that felt like somebodies shed that they haven't used in years. It smelt disgusting, i doubt a cleaner has been in there in the past month or more! So we complained and after an incredibly stressful couple of hours waiting around, being ignored and rudely spoken to by the worst member of staff i have ever encountered, we got moved to a room in another outbuilding which has led to us scratching at bites! DISGUSTING! Oh, and don't expect the shower to work!!

Liked: was well located and a good price for where we were, only 10-15mins walk to st marks.

Disliked: the shared bathroom was not very clean and very cramped, would recommend paying for an ensuite/private bathroom. only a fan in the room and no air conditioning, it was really hot and lots of mosquitos, would not stay at this hostel again.

Liked: Not really anything other than the location.

Disliked: Everything. No air conditioning. Granted it was one of the hottest weekends of the summer, but we were placed in a room on the fifth floor of the building. When we requested for a fan because it was absolutely impossible to sleeo, the man at the desk laughed at us and was completely rude about our request. He was not sympathetic at all. I am not trying to sound like an annoying spoiled traveler and I understand that for this price we should not expect air conditioning, but at least have fans for the rooms and be kind.

Liked: i was upgraded to a private room, good for privacy however im a solo traveller so did not meet anyone from the hostel. Clean, good location. Has nothing else.
