Liked: the Staff where nice enough and where welcoming to all that arrived,

Disliked: The hostel looks clean but it’s not. Wouldn’t recommend walking around in bare feet. I got bed bugs and even found a bed bug on the mattress. Showed a staff member and they said they steam the mattress daily which was crap, my bed bugs where that bad I had an allergic reaction to them. They said they were going to change me to their sister’s hostel around the corner as it was nicer and i was staying there for 4 nights, they then changed their minds and choose not to move me. They need to get their facts straight and be a little bit more organized before telling people they are going to do such things. The wifi wasn’t working for most of the time I was their either. Their where only 2 showers for 30 odd people and had to pay an additional £3.00 for sheets of top the hostel price. It was really hot when I was staying there and they didn’t have enough fans to go around the room to try and accommodate for most or all of their guests.

Liked: Atmosphere and free pasta each night. I made so many friends there. staff is really friendly :D

Disliked: Only two showers for hostel :( but it wasn´t that bad :)

Liked: Beutiful and really friendly place to stay. Lot of nice young travellers to spent enjoyable time during evenings in the most adorable place - shared living/dinning room.

Disliked: Preoccupied showers (shared with toilets).

Liked: The hostel was a brilliant base for Venice. Location was perfect and only a 20 minute walk to San Marco, 10 minute walk to Rialto Bridge. The dinner in the evening was a good way to chat to other people and it's great that they take the time and effort to take you out to some bars afterwards. The balcony is gorgeous and perfect for people watching.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: I loved it, it was like living in a big share house which was nice if you like that kind of thing, everyone was really friendly, we all ate dinner together and went out for drinks everynight, really enjoyed my experience there, a good choice for venice I think.

Disliked: that you have to pay for linen, it kind of bugged me a little. Im generally a non fussy person but I think it would be good if it was included

Liked: It was the most expensive Hostel I've stayed in in terms of just a bed for the night but the free dinner was really good, really filling. I would always choose a good free dinner over a free breakfast. The drinks were also really cheap, €1 for sangria was amazing. So overall it works out to the cheapest hostel. The staff were really friendly as well. All of them seemed to be up for a bit of banter which is what I expect from a hostel.

Disliked: There were only 2 showers so you had to queue and they werent the cleanest either. Also there was no air con and only a couple of fans to a room. I was on the top bunk and the fan didnt even reach me so I was boiling all night. You had to pay for bed sheets as well and I think if you pay pretty much €30 for a night you should at least get sheets.

Liked: not much, sorry

Disliked: Dirty, the living room is infested with fleas (I got bitten all my body), the carpet smells bad, only 2 bathroom for all guest..., In summer so warm to sleep, really discusting, the instalations are very improvised, no good value actually expensive for what is it. Even though the staff try to be nice and friendly, they are not very professional (sorry guys) Sorry one of the worst hostels ever been en europe

Liked: The staff are great, the vibe is awesome and the dinners are yummy! Oh and the sangria is delicious!

Disliked: Dont go to venice when there is a heat wave, it was unbearably hot in the hostel but also outside of the hostel.

Liked: I liked the way they brought everyone together for dinner, as it was easier to meet people. The drinks in the hostel were very cheap. The property was nice, and the location was good.

Disliked: I didn't like that you had to pay for sheets on top of a already expensive hostel. As i was only staying one night, the next day i had to drag my suitcase around venice as it would have cost me 5 euros to keep it in the luggage room at the hostel, which i could't afford. I dont think there were enough showers for the amount of people staying at the hostel.

Liked: Location

Disliked: Got the worst case if bed bugs ever! Read the reviews but didn't expect to be bitten as bad as I was. Had to go to the phatmarcy and get steroid cream and they are still all over my body!

Liked: They gave you dinner everynight, nothing amazing but it was free food which is always awesome. Large common area great for socializing with other travelers and the staff would take you out to bars and clubs around the city.

Disliked: all the beds were infested with bed bugs abs it was absolutely disgusting. The staff knew about the problem and still did not inform us until after we were covered in bites. They did nothing to accommodate us with knew arrangements rather they shoved us into a smaller room next to a room that was being renovated sober smelled like chemicals and was coverd in dust. While moving our stuff to the new room the staff took it upon themselves to take everything that was not in our bags and keep until. We had to ask several times for our belongings back. We ended up checking out a night early because of the terrible set up and service.

Disliked: Almost everything....no hot water!

Liked: Location is great. Staffs were friendly. Free diner. Pub crawl each night.

Disliked: High price, late check-in make you miss the dinner, expensive luggage room after 12pm. Lock-out from 10am to 12pm so they wake you up (with shouting and music). Going to 1 bar isn't a pub crawl.

Liked: The staff were very helpful and friendly, the atmosphere in the hostel was awesome and the free dinners meant that everyone ended up going out together afterwards.

Disliked: not secure, no doors on any of the rooms!

Liked: The way that every room opened up onto the main chillout room, The free communal dinners at night and the fact that everybody went out together afterwards. The staff were absolutely amazing, and i cannot condone this hostel more.

Disliked: People complain about the fact that there's only two bathrooms. but really is not a problem whatsoever.

Liked: A party hostel with young, English-speaking staff - ideal for younger travellers keen to socialise with other guests. Instead of breakfast, the hostel serves an evening meal at 8pm followed by drinking games and a trip to some local bars. Good location - 10mins from bus and train stations, 10mins from S Marco. Good WiFi connection

Disliked: A hostel run by gap-year backpacker party animals, for gap-year backpacker party animals. If you're not a gap-year backpacker party animal then this isn't the hostel for you! The hostel is reasonably clean but the facilities/services aren't great - only two shower/bathrooms for the whole hostel, no kitchen, no lockers, no ladders to the top bunk, etc.

Liked: Probably the most hostel-y of the hostels I stayed on my trip. Everyone here was really nice, and it was easy to make friends because of the huge common area. The staff is made up of young people from all over the world and they're all very friendly. Free WiFi and free dinner which, when I was there, was just a different simple pasta dish every night.

Disliked: There are only one or two showers, so it's very busy in the morning. The beds are also extremely uncomfortable, and if you're on the top bunk there is no ladder or siding. You also have to pay extra for sheets.

Liked: I liked the social atmosphere generated around the free dinner they offered when we stayed. It really made it easy to meet other like minded travellers while we stayed.

Disliked: The wi-fi was broken while we were there, which was disappointing.

Liked: All the staff were incredible and whee arrived late at night so they took us to their sister hostel which was absolutely gorgeous so that we could sleep in the next morning. When we arrived at the hostel we were upgraded for free to a private room with a ensuite. The dinners were incredible and drinks from the bar were super cheap. This has to be the best hostel I have stayed at all year!!!

Disliked: Absolutely nothing
