Liked: Great hotel. Clean, well located, great staff and excellent value for the price.

Disliked: If you have trouble with stairs it is on the second floor and there's no lift.

Liked: Very little. Decent location.

Disliked: The hostel was very dirty. When we arrived, the receptionist working informed us that the toilet in our room did not have a toilet seat and that they would TRY to replace it the next day. When we asked if there was another toilet we could use, she simply said that we were only missing the toilet seat and the toilet still worked. The room was also very dirty. We felt like the sheets were not clean, and felt dirtier getting out of the shower than we did getting in. We ended up checking out a day early and finding a very nice hotel for the same price.

Liked: The location is excellent: near to everything and its atmosphere is nice. The room contains washbasin.

Disliked: Half of the staff did not speak English. The room was quite small and the wall paper was raunchy.

Liked: the location was great but ynfortunately nothing else!

Disliked: ..too small rooms,no breakfast (if wanted you had to walk 500 meters or more through venice to enjoy your extra-paid breakfast)and the most important:please people learn english!

Liked: L'hôtel est à 5 minutes à pied de l'arrêt de vaporetto San Samuele. Il n'y a pas de petit pont ni de marches à monter, très pratique avec nos valises. La chambre était très bien, belle salle de bain. La vue de la chambre donnait sur une cour intérieure mais peu important car on y passe que très peu de temps. Le personnel parle anglais et employés très gentils.

Liked: Private room was clean and tidy, bathroom was also private and located across the hall. Bathroom was always clean and in good working order. Also a good location for the train station and easy access to the river for catching a bus further into Venice.

Liked: We were staying in a private room, which was very nice and clean!Too bad of all the noise from outside.

Liked: The location was really good and the decor of the building was quite ornate.

Disliked: The only issue we had was that it was very hot at night and we couldn't understand why until we discovered that they still had the heat on in the middle of summer!

Liked: Great location right by the Accademia bridge. Small but clean room. Shared bathroom, but sink in the room.

Liked: This property was in a very convenient situation for all the sites in Venice yet it was in a quiet and delightful location. Our room was comfortable and had an authentic Italian atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed our trip across the Grand Canal every morning for breakfast.

Liked: Basic, but clean and comfortable. Good location, just five minutes walk from the Gallery Accademia and the Vaporetto stop.

Disliked: We stayed in many hostels around Italy on this trip. This was both the most expensive and the most basic, but I suppose that's Venice for you. If you're wanting somewhere with more comforts (air con, TV, fridge etc) this isn't the place for you, but if you just need a comfy bed and a shower then this will do.

Liked: It was very comfy and had a good home-like feel to it. The staff were very friendly - they helped keep our key when we left the hostel and it made us feel very safe. It was also in a good location - Easy access to the sites that Venice had to offer along with restaurants and shops.

Disliked: The only thing that was not so great about this hostel was that there was no air conditioning. It was very hot in the room (sometimes to the point where outside was a bit cooler) - there was a fan that helped a bit but it was still very hot without any type of cooling system.
