Liked: Hotel is set in a quiet side street. Lovely light airy room with fresh towels and linen every day.Quite close to a few little eating places. Only problem was the lack of elevator, as hotel is up three flights of stairs and very difficult if you have a heavy suitcase.

Liked: More like a HOTEL than a hostel. Very nice room and huge bathrooms. Would have liked internet cafe and breakfast!Definitley would stay again. Close to water bus and St Marc's

Liked: Really liked the staff at albergo san samuele. One of our party had to cancel and they changed our room free of charge to a double. Breakfast was beautiful. Great location. Couldnt complain.

Liked: This hostel is really much more of an inn. By far the nicest hostel I have ever stayed at. Old building with lots of character and clean, quiet rooms. We were so surprised that we double checked with the woman at the desk to make sure we were at the right place. Even though we booked a private double, they gave us a room with four single beds! Highly recommened.

Liked: Lovely and clean, good sized room and bathroom, quiet yet central location for sightseeing, the staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay again and recommend this place for a value for money stay with lots of character in an arty area.

Liked: We had a wonderful stay here. Very helpful and friendly staff!!! We had a large, private room shared bathroom, but it was not an issue, the bathroom was huge and very clean. Great location, easily accessible to all major attractions. Definately would recommend it.

Liked: More a budget hotel than hostel. No one speaks English but they're all very sweet and accomodating. Very clean, good location.
