Liked: I love everything about A Casa Olimpia! The bedrooms are gorgeous, there is a full service kitchen, the showers have water jets from all angles and a radio built in! Two balconies, one off your room and one off the kitchen. The owners have definitely gone the extra mile to make you feel at home.

Liked: el trato del propietario fue excelente así como el desayuno. La habitación era amplia y tanto esta como el baño muy limpios

Liked: very clean, very nice staff feels like home

Disliked: must have a car to get around, we waited more than two hours for a train and had to walk over 30 minuts from the station

Liked: A great stay, felt like we were staying with Family. We were picked up and dropped back at the Train Station, so avoided a lengthy walk. The town itself is fine if you want a base away from Taormina, easily accesible by Train and Bus. We were happy to be away from the hustle and bustle. The host is very helpful and friendly and assisted us greatly with bus/train and hire car queries. Much appreciated!

Liked: The staff was extremely helpful. They helped us research the area and gave us great advice on how to spend our time. Giarre is a nice place to stay, although not very exciting. If you can afford to stay in Taormina instead, you should do that. The A Casa Olimpia owners need you to confirm your reservation two days in advance, and will follow up with you in many ways if you don't... They also have very nice showers and rooms.

Liked: Olimpia and Aldo are fantastic hosts! perfect English,Italian of course! and special bonus -Polish! very convinient for guests from Eastern Europe!Rooms are very clean,beds ok, Aldo is always willing to make some changes if you want-move beds,change positions....we were on motorbikes and Aldo provided us parking space in building for free! We eat meat for every meal,and it was not a problem -we didn't ask for it but Aldo&Olimpia suprised us with mortadela,proscuito,mozzarela.....very nice breakfast,maximum hospitality,good location -close to highway,10 min to town center-Duomo on foot.Aldo explained a lot of things of Sicilia,Giarre and told us some usefull staff-where to go,eat,sigtseeing,beaches.....downs - no WI-FI ! We used Aldo's computer during the breakfast, but wi-fi is a must for people with notebooks. next year when we come,we expect this to be solved ! :)))
