In Giarre, 13 minutes (one train stop away) from Taormina. CHECK-IN IS ONLY BY APPOINTMENT from 18:00 to 21:00 but on mail/phone request we can accept early arrival. For late/night or delayed check-in an extra fee will be charged. We offer a FREE transfer from GIARRE train station if you let us know your arrival time and train number.

Guests are provided with their own set of keys for freedom of access, with no curfew or lockout. We offer free use of our computer, hundreds of satellite TV stations from round the world (e.g. Eurosport, BBC, CNN, etc), and lots of games, books and magazines to read in the relaxing common room.

A typical and fresh breakfast is served in a comfortable open-plan common room.

Casa Olimpia has charming double, triple and quadruple rooms, and is best suited to couples, honeymooners, backpackers and 4-5 person groups or families. All the rooms are very spacious, comfortable and bright, with private bathrooms and balcony, TV and air-conditioning.

We warmly invite you to stay at B&B Casa Olimpia, situated in Giarre city located in one of the most picturesque area of the world, the Taormina-Etna region of Sicily at the base of Volcano Etna (the biggest in Europe 3369 m) between Taormina (15 km) and Catania (23 km) and 2 km from the beach.

Our house is close to the city center but in a quiet, peaceful and wide street, where parking is easy to find. It’s easy to reach us by sea, by train, by bus, by plane (Fontanarossa Airport, Catania, just 30 minutes away by car) or by car (A18-E45 motorway Giarre or SS 114). Giarre is a beautiful town known for its handicrafts (wrought-iron, ceramics, Sicilian puppets, etc.), shopping center, wine and olive oil production, lemon and orange trees, almonds and delicious sweets and biscuits dating back to Arabic traditions of the Middle Ages. As for the landscape the majestic Mount Etna is visible to the west (particularly beautiful when covered by snow, which is normally until June) and the clear blue sea to the east. It’s worth mentioning that a few meters underneath the town of Giarre there are the remains of a very ancient legendary Greek colony – Kallipolis (“beautiful city”), described in various historical documents.
