Liked: Just a few words are enough to describe the wonderful time we had during our stay there! The facilities are really good (just a tiny problem with the hot water in the shower)... And the staff was great to us and really helpful. Definitely, I would come back!

Liked: The best thing about GH is the location - probably one of the most beautiful spots in the world - 7 minutes from the beach, at the foot of Mount Etna, only 15 minutes by bus (easily accessible) from Taormina... And the rooftop terrace is a hit.

Disliked: I cannot think of anything!

Liked: Everything here is perfect! Gianni and his friend are very very kind! Everynight cook for us, tell us everything about sicily. If you want to go to Taormina, to see the Etna, this place maybe the first choice for you! By the way, from the balcony you can see the see and Etna, if you are lucky you will see the Etna erupting from Gianni house. 这里的一切都非常好，位置，设施，从这里可以看到海和火山，早晨在阳台上，可以看日出，如果运气好的话，你还会像我们一样看到Etna喷发的场景！Gianni和他的朋友非常非常热情，还为我们做晚饭，等我们回来，我们都非常喜欢这里！！！

Liked: very nice person ( Gianni) ..in front of the bus stop and nearby a excellent bakery.. u can also go to beach just 5 min walk

Disliked: away from Taormina .. bus will take 10-12 min. to reach Taormina bus stop..but buses are available till 8.30 min

Liked: Gianni the owner provided a very friendly service and was very helpful. The rooms are very comfortable. And the best thing about Gianni House is the location, very close to Giardini Naxos beach and only a short bus trip away from Taormina and other cities in the region. The views are great too and weather permitting, one has a great view of Mt. Etna from the terrace. And it is just one hour away from Catania Airport! I would definitely choose Gianni House again should I be staying in the region.

Liked: Excellent international atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. As we visited the place after the season it was rather quiet, however looked like perfect place to have a good time during the summer. It's located few kilometres from Taormina, however the bus stop is really in front of the building, which is useful as long as bus driver decides to stop ;)

Liked: Possibly the best view I have ever seen from the terrace. Sipped my coffee while looking at the sea, smoking Etna, and Taormina! The staff is very welcoming and attentive, the bathrooms in the dorm are nice and clean, and its just a five minute walk to the beach!

Disliked: can't complain about a thing.

Liked: The staff are very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is great and the free pasta/fish evenings are a real bonus!!!

Disliked: You just know it's gonna be noisy when they offer you free earplugs at Reception!!!! If you can bear the traffic, this is the place to stay!!!!

Liked: It has a nice decor and common room, and the rooms were clean. Also the rooftop terrace is AWESOME.

Disliked: The staff was extremely friendly, but they didn't seem very knowledgeable about the usual things hostel employees know (connections on to other cities, things about Taormina, since that is the main tourist attraction in the area, bus schedules and times, etc.)

Liked: The staff is very friendly and always available to help in everything and also for organizing excursions in the area, the cleanliness is good, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is nice, the location very convenient and easy to reach by bus or by car. The hostel is very close to the supermarket, the sea, the city center and the disco Panarea. You can cook also on the beautiful terrace with a great view of Etna, Taormina and the sea.

Liked: This is THE place to stay if you are anywhere in the region. The location is perfect for the beach, visiting Taormina or Etna etc. Very nice clean rooms, good kitchen facilities, common room and a massive roof top terrace with a great view of Taormina on one side and Mt Etna on the other. The best thing about this place though is the staff- particularly the owner Gianni. On our first night he had a 'pasta party' where he cooked a free meal and wine for everyone! It was great to get everyone together and spend the night chatting and drinking. He will go out of his way to make sure you are enjoying your stay and help in anyway he can. Really was a true taste of Sicilian hospitality. Thanks for everything!!

Liked: The hospitality was more than I expected. Gianni is very attentive with his guest. He cooks free dinners on Saturdays, and he was feeding me throughout my stay for free a few times, which was great for my budget and it was delicious. The bus stop to Taormina city center is right out in front of the hostel, which makes seeing the area so easy. The best was the 5 minute walk to the beach. Gianni House was honestly the best hostel I have ever stayed in. I felt safe and comfortable the whole time. The price is very right: free dinner, free breakfast, friendly conversation, and you are practically on the beach. 2 thumbs up for the staff of Gianni House, Anne and Gianni himself. Thank you for a great stay and great company!

Liked: it was easy to get to, we got there the day the pasta party was so that was nice, and lots of fun to sit around and eat with everyone. i was origninally supposed to have 3 people with me, but when i arrived with only one other they switched my rooms for me to help me out. it was very nice of them.

Liked: Gianni is a fabulous host. The cooking lesson & lovely meal on my last night was a treat.

Disliked: In Giardini-Naxos, a few km from Taormina. But that was OK. The bus stop was very close & G-N is pleasant, especially down by the water. You have to try the cannoli from the nearby shop on the main road. Ask for the grande. Yum.

Liked: Gianni is a great host, very welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was spacious, clean and had a balcony. The location is good for value given the high prices in Taormina itself. The views are spectacular and Naxos is a good spot. Taormina is easily accessible as long as one doesn't mind to drive or take the bus . Overall, it was a great experience in a wonderfull part of Sicily.

Disliked: Outside first impression is bad. It is a large building with no sign whatsover indicating that it is a hostel. But once inside, it is all forgotten about.

Liked: Staff was fantastic. Helpful, friendly, personable, they made my stay 100 times better than what it could have been. Location was close to the beach, hostel offered WAY more than I remember reading: cooking classes, shower in every room, laundry, suitcase hold, kitchenette where you can cook, views of beach, Etna, Toarmina, Harbor. Excellent hostel and totally recommend it to all!

Disliked: Close to bus stop but bus system sucks in Sicily - not the fault of the hostel.
