Liked: Some of the staff were lovely. Small. Clean.

Disliked: More of a hotel. Expensive breakfast, cooking school and trips. Nowhere to just spend time when the weather was cold. In summer nice outdoor area.

Liked: it was close to Sorrento, 10 min walk. The shower worked nicely. Some of the staff were very nice, others just seemed totally disinterested.

Disliked: Despite booking a double room, we got a twin room. Despite them saying they'd make the bed into a double bed for the second night, they kept separating the beds every day. There was lots of dust and crumbs on the floor, and there was mould in the bottom of the shower.

Liked: An excellent hostel, fantastic friendly family run. You MUST try a meal from the cooking school on an evening it was fantastic, and great to sit with other travellers and the italien family. Best hostel I have stayed at this year (and I've stayed at around 20 all over Europe). Clean bedding and towels every day, easy 15min stroll to town. Free wifi too.

Liked: pretty nice place with frienly staff, running well. Not a typical hostel, a guesthouse offer also shared rooms.

Liked: We loved our stay here! The room was beautiful and the staff very helpful. We signed up for the 60 Euro trip to Capri that they offer. We LOVED this, one of the highlights of our trip for sure and it ends up being a great deal because you get to swim around the grotto's and it is an amazing way to experience Capri that just going over there on the Ferry's would not give you. We didn't order breakfast there but rather walked into Sorrento. The walk is about 15 min which really isn't bad at all. Definitely a great place to stay!

Liked: Excellent value. Great starting point for day trips to Amalfi Coast. A bit of a walk to get into Sorrento for dinners, but totally doable. Nice short walk to beach (make sure to go to free one).

Disliked: nothing, everything was great including the homemade Limoncello!

Liked: I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The room was good for what you paid and while the loacation isn't in the heart of Sorrento its about 2 minute walk to a really nice swimming area, filled with locals not tourists with cheap deck chairs and beautiful! Also closer to some good spots to eat. Sorrento is just tourist galour.

Disliked: Only wifi in the lobby. Being by the beach the room had a bit of a dank smell and there were no lockers, however staff are happy to lock away any valuables.

Liked: Family owned and run, this place had a stack of character and attracted like minded travellers. The breakfast is well worth the additional charge, best breakfast i had all trip

Disliked: not much, moving the whole place slightlhy closer to Sorrento would have been helpful but a 20 minute walk is nothing to complain about.

Liked: This hostel was very charming. The rooms were cute and the staff was friendly.

Disliked: My only problem with this hostel were the bugs. The walls and beds were covered in ants, and I saw 4 medium sized spiders on the walls.

Liked: The cooking school offered a 4 course meal for a decent price, the Capri tour was worth the money, the staff was very friendly and a great place to meet people. VERY COLD air conditioning!! Overall a great stay.

Disliked: The 6 bed dorm is actually a 12 bed dorm. We also stayed for 5 nights and the bathroom was not cleaned once. The internet only works in the lobby.

Liked: A really friendly, welcoming and sociable place to stay in Sorrento. Loved the dinners each night from the cooking school and the boat cruise run by the hostel was fantastic.

Disliked: A couple of small issues - security wasn't great (no key for my dorm room, so the door was always unlocked, and none of the spare lockers in the dorm room would actually lock), and the bathroom wasn't the cleanest.

Liked: Beautiful hostel, if you could call it that, its more of a luxurious villa at a hostel price. Amazing place. The rooms and property are beautiful and staff are great. But its the scintillating breakfast and amazing feel of the place that I love. I will defiantly stay there again if I am in Sorrento and I recommend to everyone!!!!

Liked: The character and atmosphere was great and the staff were very friendly & helpful

Disliked: It was a good 15 minute walk into the centre of Sorrento, it feels alot longer on a hot day. I booked a 6 bed mixed dorm but it is actually just part of a 12 bed dorm just with 2 sections (also 2 bathrooms One in each area) No lockers in room. Also it was at times quite loud I think The kitchen must be in the next room over

Liked: The staff are friendly. There are 4 course meals in the evening for 18 Euro which are cooked by the students of their cookery school. The food is gorgeous, I never had a bad or even average meal while I ate there. Breakfast is a little pricey but worth paying out for if you're going on an excursion for the day. They have croissants and cakes, jam, hams, cheeses sometimes eggs and bacon, potato and pasta pies. Mmmm. The meals of an evening are a great way to meet people. It's about a 15 minute walk to Sorrento and a 10 minute walk to Sant Agnello train station.

Disliked: The only two niggles I had (and they wouldn't put me off staying again) are the security and the cleanliness. The hostel dorms do not have lockers and the doors open straight outside. This isn't too much of a problem if there are only a few in the room and everyone is security conscious enough to lock the door, however if the dorm is full then not everyone will have a key, so the door gets left open most of the time which is worrying and reception generally won't store valuables for you. Also the rooms themselves were clean, however I question how often the ensuites are cleaned as the showers can look a little dirty. Other than these two niggles, this is a great property to stay at.

Liked: Mami is a great place for backpackers cause this villa feels like home :) You can get a home cooked breakfast and dinner for a fair price. It's a family run place, so the staff make you feel welcome! They offered a boat excursion to Capri; it was a great way to see the island!! It's a bit pricy, but worth it!
