Liked: the fodd offered was amazing, especially breakfast- it was the best breakfast i have had in italy and it was reasonably pricedalso there was a great boat tour to capri which included a ride to the dock, boat ride to capri, time in capri, boat tour and swimming around the island, and boat ride back to sorrento and ride from dock to the hosteleveryone was so friendly!

Liked: The fantastic family atmosphere was a welcome change to the atmosphere of the 'big city' hostels. The staff welcomed me warmly and were always keen to help give me advice about what to do and how to get there. The meals every night were so very very good and well worth the cost. Such a great place, cant wait til i can get back there one day.

Liked: Charm. Character. Its a cooking school where you can sit alongside the dtudent chefs and eat fantastic meals. Its away form the noise of Corsa Italia, yet close enough to get to the city centre. Friendly atmosphere. The cruise to Capri they offfer. Spike and Lulu. Its an amazing place to stay.

Liked: Family atmosphere was good- paid for a dorm room for 2 of us and were given a room with 3 beds between the 2 of us, with an ensuite bathroom. very clean, and good restaurant. location isn't excellent though!

Liked: Is was really a hotel with a dorm in it. The place was fine though the main problem was that the town of Sorrento sucks, if your into a town destroyed by tourism, come here. The staff were friendly, a nice family atmosphere!

Liked: a lovely atmosphere, beautiful room and great people. i have booked with hostelbookers before and not always been very good at answering the 'rating your stay' emails. felt compelled to do this one from the moment i arrived, my boyfriend and i would recommend anyone stay here. thank you to for a lovely stay.

Liked: Wow... this is the first hostel where they cleaned the room + bathroom every day + daily made my bed and changed the towel! :-) Clean and comfortable room + beds. I also enjoyed having a very good italian 4 course dinner with the other guest for just 18 Euros.

Liked: What an awesome hostel! family-ran hostel, very homey feel, small type (not the party kind). very welcoming and a great price. They offer a cooking class every night, with a big family style dinner each evening at 8. you can either cook, eat, or both. a five minute walk to the beach, ten minutes to the center of town. When arriving on the circumvestia train, take the second to last stop called Sant Angello, it is much closer to the hostel than the last serrento stop. They have two friendly dogs named Spike and Lola, a beautiful sitting area right next to a lemon grove. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!!!!

Liked: Excellent accommodation. Clean & modern dorms with lovely hot showers. Friendly & helpful staff available most of the time.Good location if you don't mind being slightly out of the centre of Sorrento.A lovely buffet breakfast is available for an extra €5.00 per day if you book to stay in dorm, while dinner prepared by the cooking students can be ordered in the evening.Would recommend this place hands down

Liked: we loved the friednly casual nature of the hostel. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful! the meal times were the best as it felkt like home away from home with all of us having delicious food at the breakfast table.

Liked: Mami Camillia was a great place to stay. While it is not quite in Sorrento, it was a great location for the Circumvesuvius line to get to Naples, Pompeii and Hercalanium. The first night we ate dinner from the hostel's cooking school. It was an incredible meal with great wine and we had the opportunity to meet some others who were staying in the hostel or nearby.

Liked: THis place is amazing. The best food we had in Italy hands down. It was brilliant. Our room was beautiful, is was cleaned every day, the bed made and everything. We would recommend this (and already have!) to everyone we know that is going to Italy. Excellent breakfast, and as i have already mentioned, sign up to the dinner. 15 euro for 4 courses of home cooked, home made italian food. Brilliant.

Liked: Really, really good value for money. Easy to get to everywhere i.e. Pompeii, Amalfi Coast, Capri even Naples if you like Pizza so much you dont mind dodging a few bullets (just kidding).

Liked: This hostel is also a cooking school. While you don't have to participate in the cooking classes, you do have the option of having a 4 course dinner here for about 15 euros. The best food I had in Italy so far. Dinner also provides a means to meet new people. We rented a private double with ensuite and it was an excellent bargain. It was better than some of the other places like a 3 star hotel. Transport is excellent. Ideal to base your yourself at Camilla and make day trips to Possitano and Amalfi, Capri and Naples. Best breakfast. You will not regret staying here.
