keryn de JongeThis place was great - it appeared spanking brand new, and just like a hotel. The rooms were modern and comfortable, and it is right near the centre of town. You can buy dinner very cheaply there if you want, and the staff are helpful. If you want to stay at a hotel at hostel prices, this is a lovely place to do it, especially in expensive Sorrento. |

Customer reviewUllisse had a good location, and was clean. It was also convenient having a bathroom in the dorm. However it was very difficult to find. Directions to Sorrento are given however no directions were given as to find the hostel. it took us ages.Breakfast is also not included, however you could purchase it in the morning for 5euro. Internet also was expensive.Overall the hostel did not have a friendly vibe. i would not recommend young travelers to stay there. However it was a bit like a hotel so for more mature travelers and families it would not be a bad option. |

Connie Lam1) 8 bunk beds squeezed into a double-sized bedroom are 4 too many. 2) Need to extend internet wireless facility to other parts of hostel to allow guests to skype in privacy with loved ones. 3) I gave a 5 for staff friendliness/helpfulness as I didn't want to be unfair to the really nice reception ladies. However the end of my stay was marred by the corruption of the bald male concierge who arranged a taxi for me to the train station. At my initial query on taxi cost, he was very vague and indicated that it could be from 14E to 16E and maybe even 18E at that early time of the morning 6.30am. When I directly asked a few taxi drivers, they all said it should not cost me more than 10euro and they told me that the concierge is obviously corrupt, that I should report him to the police and other authorities. When the taxi arrived that morning, the concierge made a point to come out to talk to the driver whom he knew well and said in italian something to the extent that he gets 7euro, the driver said of course and they did a buddy agreement handshake. When I queried the driver in the taxi (Taxi No. 70), he gave all sorts of reasons why the ride would cost me around 20E (I noticed the meter was going pretty fast), that he was booked via Superinternet, that the flag cost is 7euro, not the usual 4euro, that it is very early in the morning, that he had to go all the way round the back road to the train station. Sorrento was beautiful but this incident made me angry. |

Ben ParksThe place was nice, and resembled a hotel.... but: The key card to the room did not work. There is no self use kitchen. They charge for breakfast, even though they say it's included in the price. Arguing the point does not work, and you are accused of making a mistake. No explanation is given for why you were not advised about the additional charge. This hostel is trying to hard to be a hotel. |

Customer reviewThe staff were really friendly and happy to help. The reception area was really large with numerous couches, and had a cosy, classy ambience. Just like in the pictures. Great on a rainy day if you want to read a book. I stayed in the 8 bed dorm with ensuite. The ensuite was great. Nice and large with really good shower head, which always makes a difference and the bonus of a hairdryer and a complimentary towel. The room wasn't bad, fairly clean. Although it didn't have lockers, just cupboards which weren't able to be locked. The only thing was that they didn't allocate bed numbers, so the staff didn't know which beds needed to be stripped so I found when you got back in the afternoon, someone new had taken your bed which was a bit annoying as you then had to go and then get a new set of linen and towel. This seemed to happen to someone everyday. The breakfast for 5 EUR was good, it was just a buffet of cakes, toast and cereal, but I think it should be cheaper. 3 EUR would be a fairer price, considering most hostels I stayed in include a similar buffet breakfast free of charge. You would have to eat a lot to get your money's worth. Internet was also very expensive. Much better to just go to the internet cafe up the road. The attached day spa was good. I had a great massage for around 30 EUR. It was well worth it after carrying around a heavy backpack. Good location in the centre of Sorrento, easy to find, about 10min walk from train station. |

Customer reviewThis place was definately more like a hotel then a hostel. We had a double private room and it was big. Our bathroom was the size of some dorm rooms I've stayed in. Super clean, location is just a few minutes from the shops and major street. Staff in friendly. Definately reccomend this place if you are staying in Sorrento. |

Shivangi ShahThe only good part about the hostel was that it felt like a hotel. Every single thing is charged, from usage of refrigerator to swimming pool. The hostel is at the far end of the main street. Its abt 7 -10mins walk to city centre and abt 15mins from train station. |

Customer reviewI was unsure what to expect never having stayed in a hostel before, but on my arrival was very pleasantly surprised. I met some very nice people and had a most comfortable and enjoyable stay, it is certainly an experience i would recommend. |
