Liked: This place was fabulous, must have been a 5 star hotel in a previous life. Staff was super helpful. It was a great break from the usal bad matresses dirty hostels

Liked: This is a hotel with some dorm rooms in it. Nice to stay somewhere modern and clean, but lacked the atmosphere of a hostel (though I knew this when I booked, and enjoyed my stay)

Disliked: The dorm rooms have no windows = no natural light at all. The 8 bed dorm should only have 6 beds in it. 2 sets of bunks were pushed together meaning it was like sleeping in a double bed with a stranger. Very hard to get into lockers as beds were right up against them.

Liked: Its a beautiful place and very clean. The location isn't quite central Sorrento but quite close enough.

Disliked: Gender-specific dorms weren't our favorite.

Liked: Better than expected more like a hotel than a hostel clean rooms cool lobby. nice open space staff freindly and location is exellent top part of town but all within easy walking distance

Disliked: Nothing really had to pay 5 Euro to use the pool but I did have it to myself!

Liked: Great place - so much nicer than other hostels I have stayed in!!The staff were so lovely and helpful. Great location, close to town, however a bit smelly ( you get used to it ).Would definitely recommend it!

Liked: Excellent, safe, excellent service, quiet & good location. Dorm rooms, some travelers can snore excessively or come in late at night not having made their bed earlier or organized their things so to least disturb others. I write this so some travelers can be be better roommates please. This is not a party hostel thank goodness, please be a responsible roommate. Will stay again.

Liked: The Ulisse Deluxe Hostel is a mid-range hotel that has some hostel rooms so it is not a traditional hostel. When I walked into my six bed dorm room and bathroom I thought I must be in the wrong one. The bathroom is nicer than most hotels I've stayed in. I felt like I was on a vacation from my vacation. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this for a stay in Sorrento.

Liked: the bes value for the price -- this hostel was nicer than many hotels i've stayed at! and it is only a 2 minute walk away from he cutest streets in sorrento

Liked: Good cheap stay. The 8 bedroom dorms are a little tight, and there are only 3 large cabinets for storing your luggage, so among 8 people it was a hassle. But the hostel itself is beautiful and they have a good breakfast. The staff are very friendly and willing to help, plus they have all the bus/ferry schedules you need to go around the coast. Overall a good stay.

Liked: Great place.. more of a hotel than a hostel, as others have said! The minor downside is how any extras are quite expensive such as 5 euro per hour for internet. The base rate is as cheap as you`re going to get for a bed in Sorrento, there`s not much reason to stay anywhere else!

Liked: This is one of the best hostels I've ever been to. It is more like a hotel. The bathroom had an actual bathtub. I indulged in the spa and workout facility (well worth it). The staff were very nice and helpful.

Liked: Overall It was a good experience. The room is well located it could have been even better if the dorm was well lit (there were no windows). Additionally, the charge for internet was a bit steep if someone is looking for a budget accomodation.

Liked: Great staff, great lounge and bar, good wifi, huge bathroom. Have fitted too many beds into 8bed dorm, with only 3 lockers which are difficult to get into because of limited space.

Liked: This place was great - it appeared spanking brand new, and just like a hotel. The rooms were modern and comfortable, and it is right near the centre of town. You can buy dinner very cheaply there if you want, and the staff are helpful. If you want to stay at a hotel at hostel prices, this is a lovely place to do it, especially in expensive Sorrento.

Liked: Ullisse had a good location, and was clean. It was also convenient having a bathroom in the dorm. However it was very difficult to find. Directions to Sorrento are given however no directions were given as to find the hostel. it took us ages.Breakfast is also not included, however you could purchase it in the morning for 5euro. Internet also was expensive.Overall the hostel did not have a friendly vibe. i would not recommend young travelers to stay there. However it was a bit like a hotel so for more mature travelers and families it would not be a bad option.
