Liked: We were given a free upgrade to cabins with an attached bathroom and kitchen because we visited during the off-season.

Disliked: The trees blocked the beautiful view of the sea!

Liked: Good location - just out of town but very regular busses. We were upgraded (in low season) from a Green Hut to a Wood Cabin free of charge! One day we went on the Campsite's organised boat tour to Capri which picked us up from the campsite and was very good value for money - the cheapest tour we saw. There was a nice swimming pool. Don't expect a hostel, it is camping but is perfectly adequate for a short, cheap stay in Sorrento.

Disliked: The cooking facilities in the cabin were very basic - no cleaning equipment - so bring your own washing up liquid! Like any campsite it was a little noisy at night but nothing unmanageable. Don't expect a beach - it is rocks - but fine for a swim.

Liked: The staff in the restaurant were very friendly.

Disliked: There were no cooking facilities in the cabin. We had booked two 2 bed cabins as a family as there were no 4 beds available when we booked. Our two cabins were at opposite ends of the site!

Liked: The privacy of the little cabin. The pool. The restaurant with a beautiful view and with staff very italian (without kindness at the beginning but ultimately friendly)!

Disliked: When it's to windy, we cant go to the rocky beach down the village.

Liked: the green cabin we stayed in was really clean, we didnt have any problems with ants.the cabin was isolated well so it was enjoyably cool at night in there. the beach is small but very nice. the camping village has enough showers and toilets for the amount of people and they are clean.

Disliked: it is kind of dangerous to walk downtown because you have to walk on a really curvy street on which the cars run really fast and there is no sidewalk.

Liked: We rented a double room at Green House. It was simple with only 2 beds inside (i would say some table or commoda was missing where to put stuff). the place has its own (rocky) beach with very nice and clean water (dont forget to take aerobics mat to lay down on the rock or you can rent big "pillow" for 5 eur a day). Camping is just 10-15 minutes walk or 5 minutes away by bus (line A) from main Sorrento street.there is also little kitchen where you can cook pasta and 2 little fridges (but you can find some space inside).there are shared toilets and showers, but there are a lot of them so there is never a line, and they are also clean.besides, there is also swimming pool which is especially good in the evening when it gets chilly at the beach. you can also buy Capri trip from camping, which is more convenient and cheaper than to buy in the city or organize yourself with few different boats.

Disliked: no internet. you can buy wifi at camping but very expensive (by the way everywhere in Sorrento and Amalfi coast internet is super expensive). smt 2 euros for 30 minutes.

Liked: I was lucky enough to not have to share my little bungalow for my stay as it may have been a little cramped if three people in the one cabin. The pool and the private beach was great it made for a very nice change of pace to stay somewhere so relaxing.

Disliked: the camp kitchen was left a little dirty, and the fridges needed cleaning out people had obviously moved on and left food behind that had gone off.

Liked: My wife and I stayed in the Green Cabins. Decent price for value, fireworks almost every night, beautiful view. Bus stop right outside of main gate, great pool, organized tours of area can be arranged at reception, staff brings you to your room. I recommend not taking the tours (which are about 30 euro) and just taking the bus to Positano or Amalfi (for 7.50 euro)

Disliked: No free internet, ants in the room (not a big deal to us), very uncomfortable bed, kitchen was small and there was no cookware or utensils (understandable though because it is a campground), a bit far from the city center (about 20-30 minute walk)

Liked: For a bog-standard hostel it was ok. You definitely get what you pay for.

Disliked: The green cabins were unclean, flimsy and the staff are unclear about what is included in the bill and additional extras.

Liked: I loved that it was on a campground & had it's own beach that you were able to take tours directly from.

Disliked: During my stay, I accidently stepped on a sea urchin that really imbedded into the ball of my foot. They were unprepared with any sort of first aid & lacked any sense of urgency to assist me even though they saw that I couldn't walk very well. They also didn't seem eager to put signs up near the beach warning future guests.

Liked: the store was useful, open early and was reasonably priced.. the beach was great!

Disliked: the beach wasn't open very late, it closes at 7, and the internet was fairly pricey, 7 euro for 24 hours

Disliked: staff at restaurant is extremely unfriendly the most unconfortable bed ever!!!! really really hot in tent house window didn't work lots of insects (ants) in room

Liked: I liked that it is quite and has a beach. I also thought that the tents would be great if you had a family and were just looking for a holiday...it's a little hard to meet anyone if you are on your own.

Disliked: No central meeting place, and nothing happening to get involved in. It was also a little far out of town...which isn't a big issue but make sure you take the right bus =P

Liked: They have a pool and private beach, which is wonderful for hot Italian summers. Plus, they upgraded me from a shared room to my own cabin for free (unexpected upgrades happened quiet often while I was there). The hostel has lots of activities (for pay) that you can participate in.

Disliked: Really hard to meet people (no central place to hang out), 20 minute walk from to the outside of town/40 minutes to the port (beautiful walk but can be kind of scary with Italy drivers as there is not a sidewalk the whole way). Had to pay for internet

Disliked: The staff were nice but not too helpful. Maybe a welcome brochure or information pack with opening times of reception, laundry services etc would be very useful.

Liked: I loved the private beach! You have to walk down 10 minutes but then you reach these flats rocks. It is really beautiful! It is also nice that the have a pool.

Disliked: The restaurant at the Campeggio was not very good, I recommend walking in to town or eating at the restaurant 150 m down the road. There was no toilet paper in the bathrooms. I wish there had been a free internet point or free wifi. Some of the paths to the cabins were a little dark, the campeggio should consider putting in lights by some of the stairs or paths.

Liked: We stayed at the cabins for one night, and then in the tents the second night, which were just like the cabins, but with cloth sides and community bathrooms instead of in the cabin. Everything is super cheap, but VERY simple! We are just college kids who looked for a cheap place to stay, which is what we found. It is quite a hike to get to, but the scenery is great. I would recommend this to people who like the camping style of lodging, and those able to do the 1 km hike uphill from Sorrento

Liked: We got upgraded room, the staff was very friendly, she gave us valuable information regarding the city activity and good local restaurant as well. I'd suggest travellers to rent a private car when visiting Positano, as it should ease your day to stroll the Amalfi coast, and reach this place, too.

Disliked: There were few insects appeared inside the cabin.

Liked: Awesome place to stay, they upgraded us to a cabin thing from the greenhous we booked. Really nice campground. Nice pool, restaurant, market, staff was really helpful in telling us ferry and bus times. Internet connection isn't the best ( a bit pricy) but not really that bad. Overall, awesome place
