Liked: They had many activities and excursions for their guests. The one to Capri is definitely highly recommended.

Liked: The camp has an own beach. The panorama is beautiful. You have to check out at 10.30 ( if you are in a cabin ) but you can spent the day on the beach because you can take your bags in a free and safety room. But the cleanliness is worthless. And you must be in a sweat till you climb to your tent or cabin from the beach - you have to climb up about 80-100m height above sea-level. But this problem exists everywhere in Sorrento.

Liked: The dorms were well sized and the beds reasonably comfortable. The bus drops you off right outside, and it has its own pool and beach.

Liked: Natural setting - olive trees. Rocky beach good for swimming. Beautiful views of sea, Sorrento and Vesuvius. Relaxed atmosphere.

Liked: Generally well-equiped, supermarket, restaurant, pool, and boat pickup to Capri. We didn't like not being able to walk into town (dangerous road with no footpaths)

Liked: 15 minute walk into Sorrento, but best to go by bus as there is no footpath on the windy roads - very dangerous, especially at night. Showers were not particularly clean, few had both lights and locks in working order! Campsite is massive and depending on where you are staying, it can be quite a trek to the showers/ toilet - a female on her own may not feel safe at night. There is a daily charge to use the swimming pool. The restaurant is fairly cheap but overpriced for what you get and the service was rubbish.

Liked: The best thing about this camping was definitely the beach!! No sand but rocks and cliffs that you can jump off of into the warm blue water. Aaah what an amazing feeling. The view of the bay from here was fantastic. The restaurant was very cheap and had great value food, as opposed to the minimarket which had rude staff and outrageous prices. The staff of the camp grounds were very helpful. We lost our key, and there was no problem or cost to receive a new one (although they weren't too happy about it of course). One of the huge drawbacks I thought were the numerous german and french school classes that came in on big buses every day invading the camp grounds with very loud music, screaming and partying all night long, and occupying the swimming pool completely. Although this probably brings in a lot of money to the hostel, I think they need to rethink for a minute what type of atmosphere they want to create on the camp grounds. Another bad experience we had was that ALL of our food got stolen from the refrigerator in the common kitchen.. So cooking for ourselves was no point anymore because we didn't want to loose anything more. I didn't feel too safe leaving things in the cabin either knowing there were low thieves in the area. All in all, we enjoyed parts of our stay, mainly because of the lovely beach. But will I come back? I'm not sure.. There are other much nice villages than Sorrento anyway, unless you love tons and tons of tourists.

Liked: The little pizza restaurant is fantastic, just remember to bring your own Toilet Paper and soap as these aren't provided at the toilets. Also Internet is around 5 eu an hr and wash/dry is about 8-10 eu

Liked: the view was amazing, cabins were very clean but slighly basic. Don't forget your hair dryer. Would recommend that you stay in the cabins with own bathroom & kitchen as the shared facilities were not that great.

Liked: Set in peaceful surroundings, but within 15 mins walk to Sorrento. Able to have private, secure accommodation and clean shared facilities.
