Liked: Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fulfilling (enough to keep my hunger away for a few hours) and had different types of food (maybe a bit lack of fruits). You shouldn't get bothered for 3 days, but if you stay a bit more then it could be annoying because the food offer is not SO diverse. During the night, it was silent. Room was big, comfortable and clean. Location is perfect. I loved Ortigia island. I would even recommend the restaurant located almost in front of Oikos (a bit more to the left).

Liked: A clean place where everything worked but its a bed and breakfast so your not going there for a party hostel where you can meet heaps of people.The only thing was having a double bed which consisted of two single beds pushed together. Always frustrating.

Liked: This is a charming hotel run by lovely people. We accidentally dropped a water bottle cap in the sink drain, and they were completely gracious - said they would take care of it - no problem. It was immaculate, our room had a splendid view of the harbor - and the breakfast service was nice.

Liked: Disappointed that the room did not have a sea veiw. This was our most expensive room booked through hostel bookers and the veiws were the main thing that attracted us to the choice of accomodation. In the end we overlooked a back alley.

Liked: Room was a good size and tastefully furnished. The lady who owns the hostel is very friendly and speaks excellent English. There was a good selection of food for breakfast (somewhat unusual in Sicily!). We stayed four nights and every day our bathroom was cleaned, bed made and we were given clean towels. Would recommend.

Liked: nice big room, Really homely B&B, good value for money. Big rooms, nicely furnitured. Good position next to the duomo. We had a triple room, the extra bed was in a kind of extra room. really good elaborate breakfast. It is like a nice hotels

Liked: It was located in the historic part of Siracusa (Ortygia Island). The harbor, restaurants, and piazzas were close by. Great location for hiking around the Island. Also close to the Banco di Sicilia, which was the only bank where I could change US Traveler Checks into Euros.The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was no telephone in the room but I could use one of the phones in the office. One gentleman spoke some English. The breakfasts were enjoyable because I met some very nice folks from around Europe and from the US.Security was not a problem, but I would have liked a locked box in my room. Also, the rolls of bathroom tissue and bars of soap were smaller than in the US. You might want to get some extras in advance because the staff could be gone by late afternoon if new arrivals were not expected. Would definitely stay again, if the price came down a bit for one person. I paid 90 US per nite and thought it was a bit high for one, but for 2 people, 45 US per nite, per person, doesn't seem bad.

Liked: Absolutley lovely place to stay, had an apartment to ourselves, beautiful art on the walls and a fantastic atmosphere. Lovely lady welcomed us and her staff were all helpful, she had great English and recommeded some fantastic restaurants, places to visit and overall ensured we had a great holiday. would highly recommed it - located just off the Piazza del Duomo and within walk to everything, loved it!!
