Liked: I liked the location and ultimatelythe general value for money - staff were helpful - the only downside at the time of our visit there was a limited renovation taking place but all in all if i should happen to find myself in siracusa i wouldnt hesitate in staying here

Liked: The owner of this hostel is wonderful, he picked us up from the train station, gave us all kinds of information and maps, and drove us back to the station when we left. The place is overlooking the water, large rooms and very clean. A great place!

Liked: Friendliness & warmth of the host who speaks English. Excellent location, House is air conditioned and very cool, because of age. Rooms are very tastefully and artistically decorated and spacious . Host is also very knowledgable about local history, & willingly shares his knowledge. He goes that extra mile in getting accurate information for his guests. A very Special, safe and secure home, which I would highly recommend, that is if you want peace and quiet!. Excellent place to spend a long weekend in winter!

Liked: The location, in the heart of Ortygia, sicily was excellent. It was a quiet area and felt very safe and friendly (I was travelling with my daughter). The Signora was charming and very helpful (They do not take credit cards, however, which I had not considered). The staff was delightful. Breakfast at a large table giving one an opportunity, if one wished, to chat with the other guests. I would choose to return here - and have recommended it to my family.
