Liked: Stefano, the owner, is lovely. The rooms and bathrooms are big and clean; there is a communal kitchen and free Wi-Fi.

Disliked: The location is dreadful: it is about 2 miles away from the centre of Siena and takes about 25 minutes walking up-hill to get to the Piazza del Campo.

Liked: Great atmosphere, very homely and welcoming and the host, Stefano is very friendly and helpful and provides a lovely breakfast each morning. Nice rooms, kitchen available. close enough to walk in to town but still far enough away to be peaceful. Supermarket across the road and a lovely Patisserie down the road.

Liked: Very clean and nice place. Nice italian breakfast. Free use of internet, kitchen. Little "garden" outside. Highly recommended.

Disliked: Just the location if the arrival is in train, but Steffano offers me to take from the station.

Liked: It was clean and nothing broken. But the manager forgot the date of my arrival and the breakfast I had to get myself from a local (but nice) bar of which the owner was a jockey in the famous Siena horse races I think. On the other hand, the breakfast was not included in the bill when I had to pay at the B&B.

Liked: Location and character. There was a mix up with the rooms but the owner did everything possible to resolve it and gave a discount so can't complain. He was very helful amd friendly and even baked us a nice cake!

Liked: very clean, nicely renovated, spacious room and bathroom, free parking on the street, supermarket across the street, 20 min walk to the city. It's a litle bit difficult to find because you can't really recognize from the outside that it is a hostel, so look out for the house number (125). When you arrive, you have to call the owner to let you in (phone number is posted at the entrance). I loved the place. It's definitely a great value for the money. If I ever get back to Siena, I will stay there again.

Liked: The owner, Stephno, was fantastic and extremely helpful even to an old guy of 64 traveling by himself. Casa Mia was a twenty minute walk from the Piazza del Campo and offered free parking on the streets, which was really not hard to find during the middel of May. A kitchen was offered to all stayers free which was nice and convience for one or two meals a day, plus a food market up the street. Also, a great place to have dinner across the street but on the expensive side. It was a great location to see Tuscany and Siena. To find this place, ask for Porta Roma (Gate to Rome) and the Casa Mia is on the same street about 200 to 300 yards south of the gate. There is no sign out front so look for building 125.

Liked: It has a quaint country-style atmosphere, it's quiet and really cute. Easy to get into the city. Stefano was so lovely and very helpful. You get your own key and can come and go as you please.

Liked: It's like a house with private rooms so it's really quiet and have big bathroom. Kitchen to cook and free internet. As it is just a fiew rooms, you easilly have access to the free internet. Just 5 min walking to the wall and about 20 min to the main plazza.

Liked: This place was excellent value for money., I would highly recommend it. More like a guesthouse than a hostel, there are only a few rooms that the owner rents out, but he doesn't live there. I had my own room and bathroom for just 40 euros a night, the place was super clean and renovated with a Tuscan decor, a really nice place. And it had a fully equipped kitchen for guests' use, and free internet - a real bonus! It was about a 15-20 min walk from the centre of town, but was in a lovely neighbourhood, very close to supermarket and laundry service. The only drawback is that the chap who runs it may not be in when you arrive - he just leaves his phone number on the door so you have to be prepared to ring him when you arrive - there is a public phone in the bar about 20-30 metres up the road.
