Nicholas LeighI've got to say, I turned up and thought we'd got the wrong place - it's stunning! Very quiet as it was clearly out of season, but that's probably more to do with the place than the hotel. The staff we're very helpful, recommended some restaurants in town (and recommended avoiding Portofino as it's so pricey) which turned out to be fine. Room was spotless, place itself was quirky grandeur reasonably well brought up to date, and close enough to town though we had a car. Would go again in season though for more atmos. |

Denise Maxwell-HopperI was most impressed with the location, the seaview from the window was enchanting, picture post card. In addtion, I was stunned to find that it was an actual castle with appropriate decor to create the right ambience. Itwould describe the accommodation as being wonderfully comfortable, and welcoming. My only regret was that I wished I could have had more time there. I will return, however. |
