Liked: Location and price

Disliked: bathroom, room is very old and does not have a comfortable bed. Why is it called a b&b but you don't get breakfast.

Liked: Cheap, near Roma Termini. For the price it is worthwhile to stay here either during the cool months, or if you have a very high tolerance to heat.

Disliked: Too hot. No a/c & while none was advertised the room just did not cool down well with the one rickety fan. Also only one outlet worked in the room, so it was either cool down a little or roast while charging phone & camera.

Disliked: The owner was a nightmare and not helpful in anyway. There was no aircon There was no breakfast No one was there when we had to check out It wasn't a well run business STAY AWAY - stay nearer the center of Roma

Liked: Great receptcion staff. The hostel was very clean, although the building it is in looks a little sketchy.

Disliked: Broken shower.

Liked: it is a well equipped room with hairdryer, sofa, free wifi, fan, heater, and even a dvd player and tv! the hostel is cosy and the staff is very friendly!

Disliked: there is no stove to cook! only a microwave is provided.

Liked: Close to city center, Rony (from staff) was very friendly and helpful

Disliked: The door to our room did not seem secure...it could have easily been forced to open, but nothing bad happened

Liked: It was very close to the main railway station, had free internet access on a communal computer and had cutlery and crokery that could be used by guests.

Disliked: The hostel is really an apartment converted into a hostel so there are no separate communal facilities and only the one shared toilet/bathroom, meaning there were queues in the mornings.

Disliked: Place needs some cleaning and small renovation like repainting to be done. Otherwise it was ok deal for the money.

Liked: The location, just 2 min walk from the shuttle bus stop which goes to airport. The staff was really nice. I came late, but he was still waiting for me to check-in.

Liked: Good value, free internet/PC use. Good location.

Disliked: No breakfast, but there is a kitchen. This hostel is very small and a very bad place to meet people. The owner will ask you to stay and let other backpackers in if you are there in the afternoons.

Disliked: Terrible sleeping conditions, absolutly attrocious, do NOT stay here!!! impossible to sleep, rooms really cold and scummy. Horrible experience, the worst hostle experience of my life ever, and i have been in some majorly bad hosels, do not stay here as u will REGRET it so much

Liked: This is split into two properties - one as advertised and one on Via Magenta, right opposite the Platform 1 end of Termini station, so very useful location wise. The staff definitely had their heart in the right place.

Disliked: The bathrooms are pretty grim...the place doesn't have that much in terms of facilities and it can be noisy outside with shouting Italians.

Liked: I didn't like anything about the property. The only positive aspect of the hostel was the guy who works there. He was friendly and as we asked him to clean better under our bed, he was very nice and did it ( there were spiders and a lot of insects which are not that horrible, but still do not fit in a hostel) He also helped me to find places I wanted to visit and so on.. We could also use the internet ( if the computer was free)

Disliked: The property has a lot of humidity, which can be avoided with a little more effort. I am not the kind of person who expects a beautiful room and I am aware of the more or less "cheap" prices, but in my opinion such a place has to be clean. That is all I expect from someone who is offering a place to stay in and gets money in return for the service. To use the bathroom you have to wake up very early (maybe 6 in the morning), there is only one restroom for like 10 people.. The bathroom is always wet and you have to dry it each time you use it. Since the plan was not to stay the whole day in the hostel, we totally enjoyed the time in rome. I was aware of the conditions of the hostel and still i decided to book it because it was already late to book somewhere else..so it wasn't surprising at all to find everything i already read in this page... if you are not the kind of person who cares a lot about cleanliness, then this hostel is really ok...
