Liked: The lady and the owner are extremely nice people. They will always give you a smile (not like the rest of the Romans). The room was very comfortable, clean and warm. They have air conditioning, blankets, pillows, a mini bar and towels at your disposal. Although a lot of people complain about the elevator, it was ok. it's an old elevator (more than 100 years old), but safe and helpful considering the hostel is on the 6th floor. It just takes a couple of minutes to be available.

Disliked: The shower - there's not much pressure. The fact that there's no one there during the night (they give you keys for all the doors, don't worry). The breakfast (you have to take it in a cafe in the next street). Though it's a normal thing there...a lot of hostels work like that. Anyway the breakfast is very good (2 cakes/croissants + coffee/cappuccino/... or 1 cake/croissant + orange juice (not natural) + coffee/cappuccino/...

Liked: Location and free wifi (no fiddly password needed either). Private room was very big and clean.

Liked: After reading all of the comments, we were a little nervous about what the accommodations would be like and the security of our belongings, so our expectations were not that high. Now I completely don't understand how anyone can have negative things to say about this hostel! The room was beautiful, we had a key to lock the door, air conditioning.. Signora was wonderful- very friendly and helpful. She let us check out later in the morning, and even found another hostel last minute, since SunMoon was booked, for our friend who was staying one more night in Rome. We want to go back to stay just to spend more time with her! The location was great, although at night a little sketchy, but any area close to a major train station in any other city would be the same. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would come back in a heartbeat.

Disliked: Online, it said that check in was at 3 in the afternoon-- we arrived in Rome earlier, and left our luggage at the train station. When we got to the hostel, Signora said that we could have come many hours earlier! Go to the hostel to see if you can check in earlier than the check-in time written online.

Liked: The staff was so friendly and accommodating! Traveling with my sister we got a private en-suite room that was very cute and comfortable. It felt more like we were at a nice bed and breakfast than a hostel. It was within a five minute walk to the bus station; so very easy to get to the city center from the hostel.

Liked: there was nothing to like about this property, by far the worst hostel I have ever been in.

Disliked: The check in is through a laundromat down the street, which is odd... this property is no longer there, but they put you in their other hostel. The room we requested and paid for was not available, so even though there was a downsize in room there was no compensation, it was still the same rate. The "private double ensuite" was a literal closet with a bunk bed, with barely enough room to squeeze by the bunk bed. The ensuite was down the hallway where anyone could use it. Also, the entire building, room and bathroom were very unclean... needless to say you went without bathing because you were cleaner that way. The neighborhood was unsafe, especially at night. Check was at 10am but the room was not available until 5pm, although they didn't state this so during the day we had to go back and forth to see if it was ready which was really annoying because they are only located near the main train station and nothing else. And the final kicker, for check out no one was available. They couldn't be found or reached anywhere.

Liked: Staff were really nice. Great location, 2 blocks from the train/bus station. 30 minute walk to any of the major tourist sites. Breakfast is from the cafe across the street, awesome place for food/drinks.

Disliked: Area is a little dodgy near the train station but I stayed for a week, getting back after midnight and never had any issues. No kitchen or lockers and you don't get a room key unless it's a private room.

Liked: Very good location, close to Termini train station.Few rooms, so not very noisy, and most of the shared rooms with only 2 or 3 beds. Not expensive, clean and safe.Fridge and microwave available.

Disliked: Very small rooms, with only beds and a bin. Ticket for breakfast only includes a coffee and a pastry.

Liked: Really close to central Termini Station in Rome. Which can take you anywhere. The room was pretty big. The staff is really nice.

Disliked: Random things broken/not working in the room. Kinda sketchy area. A cheap hotel but should be cheaper for what you really get.

Liked: It was cheap. The location is great -- really close to Termini station and Rome itself is pretty small so even though you're on one side of the city it doesn't take long to get to the other (aka the Vatican) even by walking. The room had 6 beds total but I was only ever with 1 other person, which was nice. The guy that works there was really nice -- kinda young so if you want someone to go out and party with, he's definitely up for it. The breakfast, your choice of pastry and drink, were small but tasty and come from a cafe across the street.

Disliked: It was nice that they had AC since it got ridiculously hot in Rome while I was there but there was a horrible skunk smell coming from it. I think it was from the actual AC unit itself because everything else was decently clean but it was kind of nauseating coming into the room the first minute. The safety of your personal belongings might be an issue. There's really no security because you don't need keys to get in anywhere except maybe to buzz up the first time. They don't have lockers or locks on the door although the guy that works there is there most/all of the time. The bathrooms, although they have plenty, need to be updated. I wore my shoes in the shower every time, and was extremely afraid of ever touching the curtain. All in all, I would say it's an older hostel that needs updating but on average is decently clean.

Liked: its not a hostel, check into a dry cleaners then brought to a random room in a massive building, no one around, no front desk. not very clean.
