Liked: Great location.

Disliked: We stayed for 2 days at this place and on the 2nd day, the rooms were nt cleaned nor did we get a change of towels. When we asked about this, the person claimed that the rooms were cleaned when it was obvious that they had not. The arrogant attitude of staff, lack of cleanliness about the place made us very uncomfortable and we would not like to recommend this place.

Liked: Monty, the owner, was extremely friendly and helpful. He's highly knowledgeable of the neighborhood and of everything from grocery stores to all tourist sites in Rome. He even accompanied me to a place nearby to get a watch battery. We felt in good hand with his advice and will stay at Ma Hostel again.

Disliked: The "lobby" area was a bit cramped, but not to the point it was a hassle. The rooms were spacious however.

Liked: The location is excellent. It is very close to the train station, It takes about 2 minutes.

Disliked: It is very dirty, especially the toilette's. There is no common area, like a living room where you can hang out with the other guest. Showers are bad, there is very cold and very hot water, and they don't mix, so taking shower was a bit difficult. But it is the cheapest hostel in Rome that we found, and location is very good, so I could say it was worth it.

Liked: The owner of the hostel is very helpful and tries to help you if you have a problem. The location is also excellent because it is so close to termini, so it is quick to get anywhere.

Disliked: Although the rooms are nice, there is no common area.

Liked: The only good thing about this Hostel is its location - it's 2 minutes away from Termini station, and therefore very accessible. The owner Monte was extremely enthusiastic and friendly, almost to an uncomfortable degree.

Disliked: Very dirty - dirt marks and bug marks all over the wall. There is a smell of mold all over the place, and gave my friend an allergic reaction. Even though there were a lot of locks, we did not feel safe. There is a front door that leads to the hostel as well as other apartments in the complex, and we found it left unlocked once. There was no sign on the front, so if Monty wasn't there to wait for us, we wouldn't have found the hostel, and probably would have thought it was a scam. Due to the lack of AC, we could not sleep for the entire night from the heat. The owner Monty was extremely hard to get a hold of. He was not in the hostel for the entire evening, and two of the numbers he left did not work, while the third was not answered. We had to wait 4 hours before a worker showed up for the night shift, and he was somehow able to get a hold of Monty right away. Once we did get a hold of him however, he was reasonable and allowed us to cancel the rest of our stay and refund our money. For the quality of the facility, 60 Euros per night for a private double room is a horrible deal.

Liked: I liked that it was very close to Rome's main bus and train station. Also, it was very cheap. It is a simple place.

Disliked: It was very hot at night and there was much noise from the street.

Liked: The location was good.

Disliked: The showers barely worked, the staff were argumentative and unhelpful, and it felt unsafe.

Disliked: Not much atmosphere; small hostel. Good for one night, wouldn't stay for a long trip.

Liked: Nice , simple, and friendly, family run place realy well located just a two minutes walk from Estacione Termini. Only lacks a common room. Felt safe. Party reveler? go somewhere else!

Liked: Close to Roma Termini, clean and secure. It is small, so although there is no common room it is a good place to mix and meet people. There's a good atmosphere.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: It was really close to the train statin and easy to find - and the man was there waiting when I rang on the doorbell.

Disliked: Showers were a tad grimey - but so cheap you shouldn't complain!

Disliked: Bathrooms stink; there's no ventalation. It's hot. The owners will come into the room while you're there.

Liked: It was in a great location, right near the train station.

Disliked: There was no air conditioning and no window in the room I was in. Bathrooms were sorta dirty. Staff was really friendly and helpful.

Liked: The hostel was in a really awesome location. Only a short walk to the train station and if you did not feel like going very far for a meal then there were restaurants close by. The dorm room had plenty of space for everybody and their luggage. Monty was super friendly and helpful.

Disliked: The shower had only one temperature...cold and the shower door was broken though managable. There were only 2 bathrooms so if someone was in the shower and you needed to use the toilet or just the sink then you had to wait a while.

Liked: Monti was really great and helpful, and eager to share his suggestions for things to do in Rome. The bedroom area was pretty clean and looked decent, and the small closet and desk were useful. Very friendly people, not too difficult to meet people (though a common room would have been nice). refrigerator in the hallway for public use.

Disliked: The bathrooms were in serious need of cleaning. Mildew in the showers, both shower doors were malfunctioning, and they constantly smelled as though someone urinated on the floor and it never got cleaned up. They need to invest in some all-purpose cleaner, and actually use it. Shower water pressure was inconsistent and almost non-existent, and water temperature was either too hot or too cold, no happy medium. Our room had no window and no air conditioning, despite saying so on the hostelbookers description, had a strange smell (probably because of stagnant air) and the ceiling fan did little to circulate air. There was a door to the luggage room that we had to leave open to help circulate air through the small window there, which left the room unsecured, (as the luggage room was always open, behind the office and next to the bathroom), even when we locked the main door. Perhaps other rooms are better, if you book here request NOT to be in room 3.

Liked: Good location as it's near the metro line - so only 10 mins to the city centre (plus 10 mins walking to the metro station). Friendly staff. They have a coffee machine - so save money for morning coffee (only 50 cent one coffee).

Disliked: The area around the hotel is a bit boring - but no problem :D go to the city centre and enjoy there

Liked: Great location from Termini. Very nice reception staff, who will help accommodate you with everything. Clean rooms with tvs.

Disliked: Not enough bathrooms, broken shower.
