Rachel WhitewoodTerrace was a great place to meet people, although building work disrupted the stay of some people. |

Customer reviewno hot water for showers. The rooms are laid out weird; there is 1 set of bunk beds and a double. you might end up sharing the room with an old lady that works there.... |

Customer reviewThe staff was unfriendly and at times downright rude. They packed you breakfast in a brown bag! They do not explain to the customer that the room they book will NOT be a permanent room. If people move out and you are the only one left or there is you and another person you will be moved to a room with more people at random, The internet is a joke, they have one slow computer shared with everyone in the hostel and they do not give you the password to the wireless. If you can help it...stay somewhere better, the only thing decent is the locvation-- the other hostel they have is next to the best gelato place evah. ;) |

Customer reviewThe staff was nice, the terrace was really cool, and the pasta party was delicious and cheap. However, the bathroom in our 6 bed room(with a seventh bed added) was disgusting and smelly. The shower didn't drain well and overflowed all over the rest of the bathroom. The toilet did not flush regularly, usually taking 10-15 minutes in between flushes to "refill" the basin. Sometimes some liquid (?) came up from the drain on the floor, which we think may have contributed to the smelly odor. It wasn't the worst, but I wouldn't recommend it, especially if you like to take showers. |

Customer reviewThe rooftop and the spaghetti party were the best parts. The location is also really good - walking distance from the Termini station and the Colosseum. |

Customer reviewIt is really close to the Termini subway stop as well as the Cavour stop which is really nice and it is just a short walk to the Colosseum and the Forum. It can be kinda sketchy at night. It's a really old building and the bunkbeds might collapse any day now but overall it was a good place to stay. The pasta parties are great and are only 2 euro for a TON of pasta that is really good. They have one computer that they let you use their internet on but it is always being occupied. |

Customer reviewCasa Olmata was a wonderful place to stay while my friends and I visited Rome for the first time. It was really easy to find (5 minutes from the Termini Station). We didn't have much interaction with the staff besides checking in and out but they seemed very nice. The complimentary breakfast saved our lives most days and was a feast compared to other meals we've had. The facilities were very clean and the roof top terrace is to die for. We would definitely return. |
