Liked: Good location, good price

Disliked: Getting breakfast was a little unclear, and the curtains of the room were thin and a bit tatty - made sleeping in a bit difficult as the sun gets you up early

Liked: Kitchen and a few basic kitchen equipments are available at each floor so it is really good if you plan to cook. Breakfast pack is provided every morning consist of a croissant, a pear, a biscotti and drinks. The thing that I love the most is unlimited wifi service.

Disliked: The building is rather ancient so the insides(dorm,toilet) looks old but yeah it is just a place to sleep so it doesnt really matter. When we first checked in we got a room in the 5th floor. Wifi signal only reach the third floor.

Liked: The location was the best, you can go walking to many interesting places so that was the good thing.

Disliked: It was really annoying the couple next door, they were making love and talking all the night they didnt respect the silence, and the rooms are not pretty, for the price you can get something better.

Disliked: How dirty, smelly, and moldy the place was, counted the days till our stay was over. Don't stay here in winter.

Liked: met a few cool people, view from the roof at night was pretty cool

Disliked: Was very dirty, bathroom was a mess and shower flooded the whole bathroom every morning. Toilet seat kept falling off. Kitchen area was full of black mold all over. In the room there was large amounts of dust under the beds and got our bags coated in it when we stored them. Rooftop is cluttered with old junk and broken parts/furniture. Wifi is only usable in the stairwell of the 2nd floor. Disgusting place out of some horror movie. We left a day early and didn't even care we couldn't get out money back. Which was way overpriced.

Liked: The location was excellent--very easy to get to Termini station or to walk to other sights of Ancient Rome. The bed was clean and the room sizeable.

Disliked: The showers did not have a good curtain, so the entire bathroom got covered in water whenever someone took a shower.

Liked: Great location and nice/helpful staff.

Disliked: The WiFi doesn't reach all the rooms, so I had to awkwardly sit on the steps in the "lobby" to use it. Also, we left our bags there after we checked out, so we didn't have our keys to get in anymore. The staff takes a break from 14:00-16:00 everyday (no biggie there, everyone in Rome does), but they didn't show up until 16:30, so we were stuck outside in the rain waiting to get it while a few other travelers who had reservations but had not checked in started to wait outside as well.

Liked: The people there were friendly and helpful. They did provide breakfast and some fun dinner activities as a hostel sometimes. This hostel was a nice place to meet other nice travelers and other people. The hostel was only about 10 minutes from the Colosseum.

Disliked: The building was dingy, loud, and the beds seemed like they would collapse at any minute. The wifi was hard to obtain.

Liked: I LOVED the rooftop terrace. It allows you to mix and hang out with other travelers. I also love the pasta nights! The staff puts a lot of effort into serving pasta every 2nd night to all the guests, which always ends up into a party. The staff is EXTREMELY helpful. They were willing to address all concerns and questions about Rome itself. They were very accommodating. Not to mention they give you free coffee to start the day with and a VERY reasonably priced breakfast pack that has quite a bit of food in it.

Disliked: The second building is a 15 minute walk from the original house on a noisy main road. It is not as clean as the main building.

Liked: The free pasta dinner on Tuesdays and Thursdays is awesome! A great way to meet fellow travellers and the pasta was delicious :] The staff was very very helpful and helped us switch rooms so that we could stay with our friends who were also visiting Rome. Everything was within walking distance of the hostel.

Disliked: Not the cleanest hostel I've ever stayed in, but I've been in much worse. Definitely the oldest building I've ever stayed in though, but it had a lot of character and the rooftop terrace was great.

Liked: the view on the terrace its just amazing and the hostel itself is good and good location and also the staff is really nice and they made espaguetti party which is really nice

Disliked: they change my room 2 times and the third night they put me in another building and that was really unconfortable thats not good at all

Liked: Good location, staff were quite nice.

Disliked: Came back to the hostel in the afternoon on my second day and found all my stuff gone. The staff had moved it all without telling me. I then had to move to their other hostel 5-10 minutes away. The new hostel was pretty crap. Not very clean, no wifi, and no ensuite.

Disliked: they ask me and other roomates to change the room all the time. i paid one euro for luggage storage, but they did not put my luggage in the storage room but downstair in public without any refound. Water stuck in the tube in the toielt.

Disliked: bathrooms were not too clean and the location from termini station is a lttle rough according to locals but i had no problems.

Liked: Casa Olmata has a good social scene with its rooftop terrace. Good for solo travellers

Disliked: It's a bit dark and dingy, although, fairly clean. Rooftop views unspectacular..
