Liked: Excellent double ensuite! very helpful staff

Disliked: The room could be cleaner but it was acceptable. The staff was very helpful but it made us listen to a lot of advises about Rome when we just arrived (late and tired) which was a bit stressful, I guess it would be better to provide those (very useful) explanations at another time.

Liked: The place is really good is like a hotel, they clean your room and make your bed every day! They give you a bottle of red wine when you arrive and the staff is very friendly and helpfull, you have free wifi and breakfast and a discount in a pizzeria! I really recommend it!

Disliked: I like everything! YOU SHOULD GO =)

Liked: Mabri was great, very helpful and made me feel comfortable and safe as a lone traveller. The room was very clean and had everything I needed including towels and a personal safe. Very close to the main train station and places to eat

Liked: The staff here would be considered super helpful if they were the concierges at the Marriott - so its unbelievable the service they provide for a cheapie hostel. Great advice and assistance with any tickets is hugely appreciated.

Liked: It was very close to Termini station, therefore incredibly easy to get pretty much anywhere in the city. The staff are friendly and very helpful, they helped us plan everyday and gave us excellent advice on transport and whathaveyou. the check-in wine was a very nice touch, and so was the free breakfast. Good stuff!

Liked: They give you a free bottle of wine when you arrive and you get your own key to the front door so you never have to worry about getting locked out or anything. And the internet spot was nice and you could print. They also gave you a colorful map of everything unlike other hostels where you got a black and white photocopy.

Disliked: I did not like fact that I had to share one bathroom with 9-12 people. Getting into the bathroom was a pain in the morning especially when you have to pee. >.< It also smelled a little weird and the shower did not drain very well.

Liked: The sleeping area itself is actually in a kind of apartment--it felt very authentic. The beds were made up every day, which was great, and Mabri (who, I guess, runs the place) was a huge help. Plus you get a free bottle of wine when you check in!

Disliked: Finding it was a little difficult--check in is in a laundromat/internet access point, and feels a little sketchy. There aren't any common areas to speak of, so it might not be a great place if you're looking to meet other travelers.

Liked: Matt was super helpful and mapped out the best places to see/routes to take and ways to beat the line ups! He also pointed out the best places to eat and he was bang on! The food was delicious!! Very close to the Termini and we were upgraded to a private room! Recommend this to anyone and will stay there again when I return!

Disliked: Nothing really! Tip: If it is busy...the wait for the bathroom in the morning can be long! Try to beat the line by getting up earlier! Other than that...everything was great!

Liked: Everyone who worked there was simply amazing. Not only were they super helpful, they were also very friendly- which made me feel very welcome and safe as a girl traveling alone in Rome for the first time. I could not have picked a better place to stay. I can't wait to return and see everyone again. Thank you guys for everything!! (Ashley Bella) =)

Liked: Great location and extremely helpful! Clean and safe. Great tips about the city and how to get around! Hope to get back to Rome and if I do will stay here again.

Disliked: Maybe a few more towels in the room but that's about it.

Liked: There were several services included free of charge not mentioned on the website (free linens/towels, free internet, free breakfast, complimentary bottle of wine). Also, the staff was extremely helpful and gave us a lot of good advice for touring the city. The restaurants that have discount deals with Funny Palace really aren't good but they'll fill you up and for very cheap.

Disliked: The safes in the rooms did not work, and there are no lockers to keep larger items in.

Liked: The host, Mabri, was amazing. He was fantastic at not just checking in weary travellers but ensuring they had everything organised for their stay. Even telling you which bus/train to catch to which sites, times for travel, discount at local food outlets, free internet and the wonderful complementary bottle of wine. Value for money is outstanding. Location to the station (Roma Termini) is fantastic.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike.

Liked: Amazing host Mabri - took his time to plan my 3-day itenary and gave a complimentary bottle of wine! Very spacious and comfortable rooms with lockers for personal items, and beds made everyday. Near to Termini station - 5mins walk.

Disliked: Having wireless internet connection would have been better than having to use the few computers at the internet cafe. Nothing to dislike.

Disliked: The only defect might be the lobby being in a lavomatic... But even that is not a real problem since it means having a lavomatic close by.

Liked: The owner is great, very helpful in planning my trip around Rome, provided a map, guidance, advice. I met a fellower traveler on my way here so my stay has been fantastic.

Disliked: The breakfast wasn't great, too sweet for my taste.
