Liked: I thought that it was very out of the way and the description was ambiguous as to how to get to the property after 11 PM (one would have to walk a mile in the dark to get there, since the shuttle stops at 11). The prices are not bad at all, but I would recommend this as a place to stay in the summer time. I was there in spring and there was little to no heat in the rooms.

Liked: The male and female dorms are really basic, in the male, there were around 50 beds in one room (just wooden walls seperating the room up). There was only one plug socket and one light. So if you go to bed and turn the light off, the 49 other men that come in turn it back on. During my stay there were arguements as people were talking most the night. Security isnt very good either, as there are no lockers or safety deposit boxes, but the hostel is on a campsite so stuff felt safe. Men and women have to share the same toilet also, which got really messy. The bar and restaurant were the two best things about the place.

Liked: I was very impressed with quite a lot at Tiber, the shuttle to and from the station was great and the bar and restaurant had a great feel to them. The only negative were the walls being so thin. We got a private and it was anything but. We could hear actual conversations going on besides us and it got really cold at night, though they do provide a heater that worked well. I recommend this place, a great value.

Liked: The staff was excellent and helpful, and available at all times--even when we arrived to check in around 10 pm. Lovely on-site restaurant, which is especially convenient since the commute into Rome is about 30 minutes total; it's nice to have the option to come back to Tiber around dinner time, eat there, and settle in for the evening. There is also free internet access (wifi and computers) that is available during most times. Next door to the restaurant, there is a market where you can buy snacks, towels, and essentials.Only complaints: Towels were 5 euro instead of the advertised 3, but you do get to keep them. There were ants in our room, but nothing uncontrollable, and as it is a camping property, it was not unexpected. The shuttle bus makes makes the commute much easier, but is not always on time when being picked up late at night from the train station. Be prepared to wait around 20 minutes.

Liked: Nice place to stay in summer. very good facilities but a little bit far from central city. the environment is very nice for having fun and partying. with good internet access. rooms are not equipped well but it worth the price which is very low.

Liked: no individual locker, pretty old bunk beds, bit too wierd shower area, very noisy at nights. since this place is for camping people, you gotta be aware that people staying here does not sleep, if you like partying all night, then maybe this is the right place for you.

Liked: free shuttle bus to the train station every half hour was great, our room leaked during a storm and mosquitoes somehow got in even with doors and windows shut and i recieved 21 bites on my legs the following morning. was a cheap bed for after a day of sightseeing in rome, all we wanted

Liked: Very good place for such a cheap price. All you need is on the camping site; super market, free internet, shower etc. The room was very nice and warm. It had a heater. It is not as terribly far away from Rome city centre as some previous visitors had written. Roughly 30 minutes, depending on how long you have to wait for the train. I really recommend it! I would definitely stay here again if I would come back to Rome

Liked: We had a private twin ensuite. The accommodation was very reasonably priced, and was basic, but adequate. Be prepared for mosquitoes in the summer months though! Also, the floor wasn't very clean in our room, and the beds were not very firm. Having the shop and restaurant/bar (and free internet) on site was useful, and the staff all seem to speak English. Due to the location, it does take quite a while (eg. an hour) to get to and from central Rome (eg. Termini station). Also, depending on the timing of the train, when coming back you may be waiting up to 30mins for the next shuttle bus back to the campsite. However it is actually only a brisk 15-minute walk if you can't be bothered waiting. Overall, not amazing, but acceptable for the money.

Liked: Our cabin stunk! It was really really awful! It stunk like raw sewerage. Our bathroom light didn`t work. Our outdoor light didn`t work. Half the time we had no hot water and it was so so so noisy at night. We barely got any sleep. I would definitely not stay here again!

Liked: You can't beat the price but there were some downfalls. There were mosquitos everywhere and the rooms were SO humid it made it hard to sleep or breathe. The food was good but the staff wasn't very helpful.
