Liked: The staff were lovely and the hostel was exactly as we expected from the description, with the shuttle and train service very on schedule.

Disliked: The beds are SO soft and uncomfy!!

Liked: Has a bar, so easy to meet people.

Disliked: Quite far out from the city centre, but has good transport links.

Liked: For a good price you get a little bungalow all to yourself.

Disliked: We stayed there four nights and two of those nights we had to move. The first place had no heat and bugs in it and the in the second place the electricity cut off. Also the walls are really thin and in 2 out of the 3 places our neighbors were really into loud sex. We didn't move to new place because we're pretty easygoing about these things but they really need to work on their maintenance.

Liked: the resto's food was spectacular... actually. Staff was great.

Disliked: IT'S HONESTLY A CAMPSITE 1 HR AWAY FROM THE TRAIN STATION!! no matter what the site says.. 20 mins blah blah.. if you are arriving by train, after a long travelling day... you do not want to deal with heading to this campsite. we simply chose this campsite because it was the only one available. we slept in the mobile homes. it was FREEZING at night, given it was Sept.. it was such a pain to head to the city, difficult to sight-see every day.

Liked: The social beer garden was a GREAT place to meet people in the evenings.

Disliked: Pretty far from Rome... but to be honest, we enjoyed Tiber more than Rome itself!

Liked: Good value for money and easily accessible from Rome. Very nice Pizzas are served in the on site restaurant.

Disliked: We had issues with the hot water (lack of) when using the shower. Walls in the cabins are paper thin so even whispers from the neighbors can be heard.

Liked: It´s cheap and has a good value for money and it looks quite OK. If you pay attention at their indications, it´s very easy to find. A great place to stay!

Liked: Really calm, peaceful location. Good value for money.

Disliked: Outside the city. To use there last shuttle service at night 11 PM, you have to catch the train from Flaminio 10:30 PM in Rome.

Liked: Nice place to get away from the busy streets of Rome, but only if you are camping. Nice bathroom facilities.

Disliked: The beds were a joke, basically 2 pieces of fabric with collapsable springs. The location was very far away from Rome, and if you didn´t catch the train (which they do not give you directions on how to find) you have to take a tram or after midnight a bus (the WRONG number is on the directions given to you) We got lost and spent 4 extra hours getting home one night and after that fiasco we had to climb the gate to get in!! Unless you are purely there for camping, i´d suggest a different hostel.

Liked: Very lovely and low-stress place. It reminded me of all the times I went camping when I was younger, only this time it was without the tent. The shuttle service was good.

Disliked: Food and Drink are a little pricy. The location isn't bad, but it's really hard to get to and part of the area you may need to walk through is a little sketch. The shared rooms also seemed to be in worse condition than the trailers and mobile homes for hire.

Liked: The swimming pool is great and its a beautiful setting.

Disliked: The location is bad if you want to be in the centre of Rome but it is more than made up for by the campsite itself and the staff who are brilliant.

Liked: Excellent restaurant, well stocked supermarket, free internet, nice setup. Free shuttle bus was great and we had an early flight so was good to be able to get transport to the airport.

Disliked: Directions to get there are totally inadequate, am amazed we made it. May wish to fill in some blanks between the underground and overground Metro and tell people which tram to catch? Loads of mosquitos and not possible to air the room without letting them in - fly wire over the vents would help. Washing machines were terrible, got rust and washing powder all over our clothes, not good for the price.

Liked: Takes quite a long time to get into Rome, and the shuttle bus only starts at 8.00 in the morning. But then when we needed to catch a train earlier than that, the night porter gave us a lift into the station. The staff were really helpful and it was really good value for money.

Liked: I liked the quiet location. The on site facilities were great, the restaurant served wonderful food and all the staff were great! The free internet was a real bonus and the on site shop was reasonable prices. The free shuttle bus was also a great feature. When we were here there was a public transport strike, the staff informed us through posters around the campsite and told us when we were getting on the shuttle bus so that we did not get stuck in the city.

Disliked: Our cabin was a twin and connected to another twin cabin, the walls are paper thin and you can almost hear the other people breathing! The beds were not very comfortable either. Apart from that, just mosquitos, of which there are lots and lots because there is a river running through the site so it attracts the mozzies.
