Liked: The rooms and facilities were especially clean and well maintained. The daily turnover service was especially nice. The market and restaurant/bar were a bit pricey, but otherwise had a good selection and quality of food and drink. The shower facilities were very spacious and clean with lots of hot water. For whatever reason there were a lot of English speaking people-- mainly Americans, Australians, and the Dutch-- and that was nice for me as an American.

Disliked: Tiber is rather far away from Rome itself. It's about a 40+ minute trip if you catch everything right, which is hard to do. Keeping the market open past 8PM would also be more useful. While there is a luggage room there are no safes or lockers, so I was a little worried about keeping my valuables safe.

Liked: Not a lot

Disliked: 1. It is not secure there are no doors or lockers to safely put away any valuables. 2. There are no cooking facilities but there is an expensive resturaunt and market you can eat at. When it was raining they would not let us eat our own food inside at the bar and there is no undercover area else to sit at. 3. Showers are cold 4. The location is an hour journey to city by public transport. 1 shuttle bus, then a local bus and then 2 trains. This only cost a 1 euro though. I guess you get what you pay for when you stay here

Liked: It had everything that you needed for an enjoyable trip on site, including restaurant, pool and shop.

Disliked: It was a long way from Rome Central station which meant travelling to and from the hostel took a long time, especially as the train service was not working.

Liked: Great facilities and great staff. The vibe is friendly, the happy hour is cheap, the restaurant is pretty damn good for a campsite, and it's more or less clean.

Disliked: Far from the center of Rome. Couldn't consistently get hot water from the shower. The dorm rooms aren't very spacious.

Liked: One of the best hostels where I have ever stayed. Great atmosphere, extremely helpful staff, the restaurant is really good, and it is very easy to meet other travelers! I had a great time while staying here and would definitely come back if I am ever in Rome again

Disliked: So the hostel is a little far away, but because of this you get a really fantastic setting. You need 30-40 minutes to get to the city.. but no problem at all. I stayed at the dorms and it could feel unsafe (no lockers and no locks anywhere.. everyone can go in and out as they please) BUT I felt completely safe and left my things there. You can leave your things at the reception if you are scared someone might take your things.. ... :)

Liked: The restaurant was really great- it was average prices you'd expect if you went out 4 a meal so it wasn't something we could afford every night but when we went the food and service was amazing and we really felt we were out at a high class restaurant not at a campsite! The pool area was lovely and wasn't loud or packed during the day, the pool was a great length but wasn't very deep.

Disliked: The hostel part of the campsite was fine for what we paid the dorms and beds were very basic but the locations and amenities of the campsite made it a great stay!! Rome is a brilliant city and if your on a budget this is a great place to explore it from!

Liked: It was far better than expected. Beautiful yet fun. Staff were beyond helpful!

Disliked: Absolutely nothing. I would probably say that although it wasn't overly noisy if people like absolute silence when sleeping they may find it dificult but if you're ok with a bit of background noise its perfect.

Liked: This was a great place to meet other travelers. We made a ton of friends from all over the world. Also, the pool was great. I was really pleased with the free access to computers.

Disliked: The wifi was really expensive and this place was VERY far away from the city of Rome. The half of the train line we were supposed to take was cut off from the 4th of July until September, so we had to take four different modes of transportation to get to the city center which took over an hour. It was very frustrating. This is a great place if you want to chill by the pool and meet other travelers, but not so good if you want to get to know the city of Rome.

Liked: The bathrooms were clean and the showers hot was great to have a pool.

Disliked: The walk from the bus station at night after the last shuttle is slightly dodgy and would not recommend people to do it on their own. The beds in the twin cabin that we stayed in were not very comfortable with springs easily felt also has a banana effect going on but honestly I didn't noticed as was too tired from sightseeing all day in Rome!

Liked: Location good for price. Easier to get to than it claims on website (main train station is near to Flamino tram stop - getting A Line Metro is not needed). Free shuttle bus with funny and amazing driver! Market also very helpful.

Disliked: Grumpy and rude night receptionist / security man. Very overpriced drinks at the bar (like £5 / 5 Euro a pint / .50L). Wi-fi, even when you pay, does not work.

Liked: Nice overall stay - the shared facilities (shower and toilets) were typically very clean which was good, Food at the restaurant is good.

Disliked: it is a bit far out from the city and if you miss that last train from Flaminio Station it is a bit of a pain to get back to. Room was very small - a bit like a rabbit hutch for humans - but I suppose for the price you can't expect much more! All in all I would still recommend for a very cheap stay.
