Liked: EXCELLENT value for money. Clean! Great swimming pool for relaxing before or after venturing Rome. We were also allowed to check in 7.30am which then gave us the whole day. Great shuttle bus service to train station and then only €1 by train into Rome. Fantastic. The same ticket can be used on buses too (for up to 75 mins - but only one way!)Only bad point - the 6 bed room (we booked 4 bed room) was so musty and was baking hot with faulty window handle that wouldnt open. But there were only 3 people in the room, we were allowed in early... and we were out all day - so it really didnt affect our stay. We would definitely stay again.

Liked: Ok, seriously. The best hostel experience I've ever had. A friend a I stayed here for a few nights while we were experiencing Rome, and if we hadn't prebooked our travel dates we would've stayed at least 2 more nights. We met tons of great people from all over the world at there bar, drinking the best sangria, eating great food from their kitchen. Amazing. The ultra booyah showers even had music being pumped into them. The staff, extremely cool, a guy named Charlie overheard my friend and I talking about not having a hostel booked at the next city, he was so helpful that he literally "made a phone call" and helped us get booked so we weren't on the street the next day. Badass place, great people. I will absolutely stay here again, there was no other hostel like it, and it's extremely low priced for what you take with you. Thanks guys, I'll be back with more friends next time! Swafflen!!!

Liked: Very pretty place, very easy to get to (and cheap for 1 euro) despite the distance from the city centre. Swimming pool lovely, and restaurant good value for money.

Liked: The swimming pool was GREAT. Location was pretty good too, easy to get to. Might be better to camp here, the trailers have paper thin walls and any movement is felt throughout

Liked: The atmosphere was very relaxed, the bar was good, especially happy hour. The pool was a welcome release from the heat and there's a very convenient shop open from 8 till 8 everyday. The staff all speak at least some English.

Liked: Part of the reason that Tiber offers so many great facilities is because they are far away from the city center, but ultimately, it was a great place to stay. A warning: private rooms are trailers divided in half with very thin walls, so you can hear everything going on in the other half. The only real improvement I could recommend would be kitchen facilities available for backpacker use. The happy hour at the bar is great, and often they offer a round of free shots.

Liked: it's big, a camp site good for camping. but not a good choice for traveller, coz it's really too far away. it will take up so much of your valuable sightseeing time. there is no ac in the room. and the shower is poor. hot water run out very quickly and restore very slowly. i can accept that if i take the shower in the summer afternoon, but i can't stand for that at night.

Liked: The restaurant served really good and reasonably priced food. The pool area is a nice place to relax in after sightseeing around rome. The showers were always warm. The shuttle service to the train station was handy, was nice to be out in the quiet areas after the hustle and bustle of rome and only took 30 mins or so to get into rome. The only downside was the caravans were a bit old and the windows didnt lock if they updated the caravans the place would be perfect.

Liked: Sangria.The atmosphere in the bar was good and the drinks were well priced.The facilities were good especially the pool which was never over crowded.Food was good with a reasonable selection with relatively quick service except at peak times when service times went right up, also some of the staff could be difficult and in rare occasions rude.

Liked: It was a nice place to come away from the busy city centre. The facilities including a bar and restaurant were very useful and reasonably priced. The shuttle buses running to the train station were regular and efficient.

Liked: Our first night at ¨Camp Tiber¨ our room filled up with water when it rained. The staff refused to clean up the water or provide towles or any type of laundry coints even though all all of our stuff got soaked. The place is a pretty long train ride from Rome so when you are there you are pretty much trapped. They have a store on the premises that sells cheap wine and esseintials. There is nowhere to cook your own food, although the returant is really good and reasonably price. They have very strange rules; you cant bring your food from the resteruant into the bar, you cant order food at the bar, blah blah. The bar also sucks. However, they did have a pool which was nice but boring.
