Liked: The tents are REALLY good value for money and the facilities available are really good also. The airport shuttle was great for us as we had to arrive at the airport around 6am. The pool was also great to use.

Disliked: There are a few things - this place is a bit of a party place given it is so big so there were a lot of drunk annoying people that woke us up and were quite rude but this is not the fault of Plus Camping obviously. The wifi is pretty bad, it was very slow. It is also a bit of a pain getting to the hostel - if the metro and bus are on time its ok but the bus often wasn't and we had to sit around waiting for ages. Also one Australian guy that said he worked there was really rude to us when were drinking our own beer outside the bar (even though another staff member said it was ok). Also sometimes the level of cleanliness around the tents wasn't great.

Liked: Great facilities - swimming pool and bar - what more do ya need! Like the picnic table area, great for socialising with other travellers.

Disliked: As the metro is under construction and closes early, the campsite isn't that accessible at night - but that didn't bother us as we met so many in the campsite. Avoid the white wine in the bar though...

Liked: The atmosphere, parties and bar man ;)

Disliked: The distance from things although it was easy to get to places through buses etc. Also some form of communal kitchen would be nice especially as the supermarket is closed 12-4. Still thought it was a great place however!!

Liked: It was pretty cheap and we had our own shower for 3 of us, instead of sharing with the whole place.

Disliked: The shuttle bus to the vatican took us nowhere near the vatican, just kind of dropped us off and expected us to know how to get there (about a 20 minute walk.) And we had a really disgusting roommate one night, who ended up getting one of us sick by coughing and sneezing all over everything, but that isn't the hostel's fault.

Disliked: it´s far from the city and doesn´t have a lot of facilities to get there besides the bus.

Liked: This was a great budget traveler option which suited us. We stayed in a chalet which was great and had everything we needed. We liked all the facilities the campsite had to offer including the supermarket and pool! Public transport was right out the front and very straight forward! We would recommend this to others.

Disliked: We had issues with the wifi at this venue. It took a very long time to load and most of the time it didn't work.

Liked: Shuttle bus was easy but even without this, it was easy enough to get into the town. Very clean resort area diminished slightly by drunken kids everywhere.

Disliked: It could get very noisy at night time. There were some seriously inconsiderate people shouting till all hours and if your room neighbours someone who is thus, then you hear their every move plus they make the whole room shake! It is luck of the draw... more considerate people will obviously make for a better stay.

Liked: The staff is really friendly and nice. They answer any and all questions. Its very clean and the pool scene is nice to have after a long day of touring. Its very easy to meet people.

Disliked: The location. It is really far from the city. You must take several buses, or the metro to get anywhere. Cabs are about $20 Euro each way. During my stay, the city, actually the country, had a strike on Public Transport, So this was not good at all considering it was the only way to get around from this particular hostel.

Liked: It was convenient because we had a car and it was close to Rome. It was well equipped with anything a traveler might need. The staff was awesome. The walled tents were well lit, spacious and had nice linens. The showers were excellent.

Disliked: It was noisy, no electric outlets, the hot tubs were cold tubs.

Liked: Plus camping Roma was awesome! Cheap! The tent was big, beds were soft and comfortable, at night there was enough silence to sleep, Jacuzzis and swimmingpools were soo amazing. Without them we couldn´t have made it through the hot wheather of about 45 degrees.

Disliked: The location is quite bad, busses run yes, but you never know how long you have to wait for them, maybe 5 minutes, maybe 45 minutes. There´s no schedule for the busses in Rome.

Liked: It has really nice views and the tents and beds were decent.

Disliked: the staff were extremely slow and unhelpful. It is a really long way from the city centre.

Liked: I liked the pool and restuarant, the supermarket and the closeness to public transportation and shuttle buses to Vatican and the airports, the wash rooms

Disliked: The internet WiFi was very lacking in decent connections and availability, the supermarket on site had no refrigerated alcoholic beverages and the pool area could use some shaded areas for the deck chairs

Liked: Air con, mini market, rooms were nice

Disliked: too far from the city, too hard to get to from the metro station (buses dont come every 20mins as advertised). Wifi only available next to internet cafe, not many ppl can fit in the room so people had to sit outside the building (not good at night). Check in took too long, they should have a separate line for tour groups and another for individuals

Liked: Good pricing, good facilities - close to large supermarket and had a shop and restaurant on site. Helpful staff. Cheap shuttle service to/from the Vatican and the airport. Patio with table outside cabin - good for drinking a beer at sunset with salami and cheese! Location is fine if you are ok with not staying right in the city centre - bus stop right out the front.

Disliked: Hot water not reliable.
