Liked: Great locatoin and kind staff.

Disliked: The bathrooms were a bit dirty, but not horrible.

Liked: It's in a great location right next to the Vatican city and has a metro stop right next to it so (when there isn't a strike!) It's in a great location to get to it from the station easily! It is kept pretty clean by the staff. There was free wifi (I think) but also a computer for those who didn't have their own laptop with them which was very handy!

Disliked: Staff took a bit of warming up before they were really talkative. The most helpful was a guy who wasn't actually working there any more while the girl who was didn't really offer much information, although they were pretty helpful when we had to find a new hostel for a night we hadn't booked by mentioning other places and giving us names of people they knew there! The Bathroom were clean although unfortunately one of the 3 showers wasn't working while we were there but it was fine.

Liked: Free internet. Good location.

Disliked: The staff was special and slow. Bathroom facilties not so good. Beds weren't ready when we arrived (after 3pm).

Disliked: half of the beds are good and half are sunken in like a hammock.

Liked: Location is great and i think it was quite clean!

Disliked: Generaly it was not looked that much nice but i think it's okay with this price! Anyway it was clean and staffs were really frindly!!

Liked: the staff were great could not ask for better, knew the city really well, full of good tales, made it fun to stay there, fixed any small problems straight away. really nice to have such a clean and safe place,could not ask for better staff after a very long journey, no real communal area wasnt noticed after the first night. really close to center of rome and transport cheers for the free wine and cake!

Disliked: to owner (clearly differnt from the staff): no hot water no power plugs the beds are marginal at best (didnt break but.......) the buzzer is outside the dorms (buzzing at wakes up the guests only) cutting corners ruined what could have been a really nice place

Liked: THe View of the Vatican!! This property is located just on the outskirts of the Vatican, making the Vatican seem like one's backyard.

Disliked: No kitchen, only one microwave provided!!

Liked: Fun atmosphere in a great location in Rome. I met some really cool people, and felt warmly received.

Liked: It was in close proximity to Vatican City and the Metro in Rome. I could find plenty of night life as well and find my back to the hostel at no problem. The staff was very helpful in helping find attractions in the city. This hostel was clean everyday and meeting new people was very chill and relaxed.

Disliked: The internet needs to be upgraded to include a Wireless Router instead of just 4 Ethernet ports.

Liked: The location is definitely unbeatable. Just that the place is quite small and doesn't offer much. And there is wireless but if ou don't have a laptop, you'll have to wait a looong time to be able to use the only one computer they have.The cleanliness was relatively good.

Liked: If you're visiting the Vatican, this hostel is about as close as they come. If you're visiting anything else in Rome, it's quite far out.

Liked: Fairly close to the Ottaviano Metro station. The staff was friendly. Also, if you have your own laptop, you have free access to internet 24/7 which was amazing. The rooms were pretty clean but the washrooms/shower were pretty gross. Extremely close to Vatican City and other main attractions.

Liked: If your a backpacker or just someone looking for a place which is in the centre of Rome and a good place to meet people then this is the place. However, if you also wish for descent facilities such as a shower which actually works and provides hot water, clean wash room facilities and toilets which are not over inhabited then look elsewhere.

Liked: It was close to the Vatican. Literally a 5 minute walk from the entrance. But that was the only thing that was close. Every other attraction needed to be reached by the metro or tour bus. The staff at the property were all around my age. (probably 20-23). They were awful. All of the staff live in the hostel as well. They are all living there because the property owner allows them to stay there if they work for him. Therefore, they don't do anything. The only person that was semi-helpful was the English girl with blonde hair. Lockout was everyday from 11:30-2:30 but our rooms were never cleaned. A pile of dust accumulated under my bed. The beds were the worst beds I've ever slept in. The mattress is literally like springs wrapped up by bed sheets. The sinks so far down when you sleep on them. The showers weren't always hot. When we told the so-called staff about it they shrugged it off as not a big deal. Also, this hostel was supposed to have wireless internet and it definitely did NOT! The first day we arrived the cable internet worked for 20 minutes and then went out for over 24 hours. When we asked about the internet, we were told, "Oh, umm, well it was working earlier. This has never happened before" Which is BS because just a few days before there was a review for this hostel saying the internet went out. When it started working again, the staff crowded around the internet and hogged all of the cables. And when we were using the internet, they had the nerve to say, "Please limit your time so that others can use the internet!" Also, at night the staff members are ridiculously loud. They were so inconsiderate of the people trying to sleep at 3am. They weren't even trying to whisper. All in all, I would never stay at this hostel again.

Liked: Not much. Half the time the showers weren't hot, in fact they were ice cold. There wasn't wifi, they did have three ethernet cords but it wasn't enough, especially cause the staff would sit there and use it. The beds were awful, they sunk to the ground. Also I didn't like that there was a lock out, we didn't even see why it was necessary because there was dust under our beds. Obviously that time wasn't used to clean the rooms. There was no kitchen, and only one little fridge. The one cool thing was that when you walked out of the hostel you could see the Vatican. But, I would not recommend that anyone stay in this hostel.

Liked: Superb location overlooking the Vatican and St. Peter's, however the showers are a joke. 3 showers, no locking door shared m&f.
