I had a great time at this hostel. The pasta dinner during the week was great to save money. Common rooms are good places to meet people and the staff were great. Definitely recommend it.

I liked how close it was to Termini, although I have to say that the area at night isn't that great. On the other hand its literally twenty minutes to the colossus from there so that's nice. There's a lot of hustle, lots of people from lots of different places---they also have free veg dinner every night except Saturdays and a lot of promotions for pub walks and resteraunts. Definitely for the young crowd, especially heavy duty party goers

The room I stayed in was big and clean. Make sure to bring your own towel though because if you don't it'll cost you 2 Euro to rent one. Also remeber to bring a lock. Clean, good location, not too noisey, free breakfast and dinner!!!

Free pasta, and if you wanted free pizza at the other Alessandro hostel in Rome. Don't expect a lot though, the pasta was ok, but the pizza was really not that good. Don't eat the pizza with the tuna fish on it, I didn't want to see any more tuna for the rest of the vacation after that. But hey, we paid 17 dollars for a night, got breakfast and dinner, what more can you want for that price... there were enough bathrooms to get ready in. What I liked about the bathrooms on our floor was, that the little bathrooms had a sink, a toilet and a shower that you could have to yourself. And if all of the five or six bathrooms were occupied you could go to another floor and use the bathrooms there (they had shared sinks and toilet and shower seperate, too, but that was ok, too). The rooms were ok, the linens were fresh and clean, it was a little hot though during the night with seven other people in the room. And don't forget something against mosquitos, we were totally eaten by them after the first night. The atmosphere at the hostel was ok, I was a little dissappointed, that it didn't seem that people wanted to get to know other people, everyone kinda just stayed to themselves at dinner and breakfast, also in the dorms everybody just stuck to the people they came with, so no getting to know other people... The staff was friendly, what was nice was, that they let us take a shower before we left Rome in the evening, although we had already checked out, and had our stuff in the luggage room during the day.
