What I liked about it was friendly staff. Otherwise... in our room were ants and water for showers was absolutely freezing. It takes about (or more) min to get there by public transport.

It was very low-cost, and not bad value.

augustin and all the members of the staff were particularly nice and helpful. but , even if it's cheeper than other accomodations, you have to take the metro and the bus...you are a bit far from the center !

Good breakfast and good atmosphere around the place. Was really quite a long way out though and a lack of toilets meant it was sometimes quite a hunt to find one free! Good kitchen facilities

First off all, friendly staff, great area in front of the hostel, a tent with benches and a swing. BUT: Not pleased with the breakfast, one small crossaint, varm milk, and bad coffe, the second day they were out of "bottle-water" and cornflakes (too bad for those who wont drink from the tap). The toilet and the shower-room were always wet and dirty (we stayed there for two nights). But the worst thing were the big girls-doorm. I considered to sleep on the couch in the hall, the room was SO hot!! We got two fans from the boys-doorm, but it didn't make the big difference. Guess there's no ventilation in the buildning, at all. And the one window in the girls doorm could be opened max. 20 cm. Oh, there's one more thing; The "safety"-lockers had a "one key that fits all system"..

It isn't the nicest hostel but the staff was very helpful!

Fantastic place to stay, and the distance from the centre of Rome was not a problem due to the excellent travel links that meant we could leave at 9 and be in the centre of Rome by 9.45. Staff were willing to assist with any problems we had, and the hostel had a huge range of facilities including wifi, a computer, a dining room, a kitchen free to use, and a laundry room.

There were lots of mosquitos inside the common room. Mostly this is just the nature of living in Italy, but I have tons of bug bites as a result. Very few toilets for everyone to share, and it's a good 20ish minutes on the Metro outside of Rome. But the staff is helpful and it's not too bad. Bring a map though, the directions are hard to follow

That hostel was just horrible. If you want a quiet place; don't go there. I did more than 20 hostels in the past and that one was the noisiest . Each time someone open or close a door somewhere in the hotel, you hear it a lot. The first night was terrible and I asked to be refund for the second one or to be moved to their other hotel in Roma. They refused to do so and the night receptionist during laughed at me when I asked that at 2:30AM. Result: we were really tired to visit Rome. If you can sleep when it is noisy, and if you like rust in your bath or shower, go there. Another important fact: no hand soap in the bathroom or in the kitchen. Also, it is not clean everywhere. And last point: we asked for a double room and they gave us a twin room. Augustin, which was helpful (it is the only one) make a small reduction because of that. 3 words: Avoid this hostel.

The biggest problem was the noise. Outdoor party in courtyard went on all night, every night. Staff had no interest in controlling the party, even though people were literally yelling out there. The location seemed okay for the first couple of days, but staying there 4 nights or more you will get very, very tired of the long commute back to the hostel each night. Showers were broken, often ran out of toilet paper, floors in our room were dirty so you must always wear shoes. "Breakfast" consisted of corn flakes and warm, powdered milk. Do not believe it when the site says "breakfast included" as they did not serve ANYTHING but the corn flakes. If you are able to spend a little more, find a better place to stay.

This place was not clean at all. There were bugs everywhere--it was not an enjoyable stay due to the condition it was in and also not all of the staff was super friendly

The bathroom, kitchen and room was clean, but the floors in the room were not very clean. It is also outside the main city, but the price makes up for this inconvienence. I would recommend this hostel exclusively because of the staff, in particular the staff member named Gus. I experienced an emergency while I was staying there and he did everything in his power to help me resolve the crisis from thousands of miles away. He was very friendly and would stop at nothing to make his guests comfortable. Definitely a great value and would highly recommend staying there.

This is a good place to stay for a few days in Rome, but if you're looking for someplace for a little longer, go for somewhere cleaner and maybe with an actual common room to meet people. This place was fine, but if you stayed in past 10 AM you were sure to hear lots of crashes and yelling from the people who ran the hostel and the housekeepers. Plus some of the older men who stay there were slightly creepy.

Interesting hostel I must say. It's pretty far out of the city but cheap for it's location. We met a great bunch of people but there weren't enough female showers and the female staff would come in during the mornings to change the beds but would yell at each other constantly. the breakfast was just cornflakes and hot UHL milk. Yuck. The washing machine was broken too which was a pain. The best thing about the hostel was the french staff member Gus. He was so friendly and could help us with anything we wanted. Not too bad I suppose for the money and everyone who stays there is pretty chill. Mosquitos were way too frequent as well. Each to their own!

Flies were very bad at night and having to swat them buzzing around my head as I was trying to sleep was terrible. The main lady that worked the was not helpful when calling and trying to find the place. She became upset that I couldn't find it.

This was the cheapest hostel in Rome and although it was a little further out of the city than was was desirable it was worth it for the peace and tranquility it offered. The hostel staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable with a lovely breeze wafting through most evenings and best of all breakfast was included. I would definitely reccomend this place to others looking for fantastic cheap accomodation in Rome. Only one tip, bring insect repellent. I was attacked by mozzies and I'm still feeling their rath.
