Liked: Sabino was vey helpful. Very close to metro station and super market. Coffee was great.

Disliked: Sometimes(very rarely) hot water for shower was chilly.

Liked: staff was very helpful and the location (although not optimal, see below) was ok, because it was close to the train station by foot and close to the center by metro.

Disliked: the neighborhood is not the nicest in rome altough relatively close to the center and termini station. the breakfast was poor. and the cleaning could also be improved.

Liked: Nice staff. The owner is always there to greet and help you. Big rooms for hostals in europe. The hostal is small and it doen to have common areas so do not expect to meet people there.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Liked: We stayed in an ensuite, very nice, tidy, the owners are extremely kind and helpful. the price is very fair. a Metro station 2 minutes away also was helpful

Disliked: while close to the train station, the location of the hostel isn't very plesant, but it didnt effect our stay..

Liked: Rome is expensive so this hostel is great value for money. We were expecting a very budget-standard experience but were amazed that our double room was very large with a nice en-suite. The owner and family are very nice people who helped us with everything we needed, giving local advice on the amenities, how to visit places etc while at the same time not restricting our privicy or being overbearing. I have travelled for five years always staying in budget accommodation and would choose Blues BB everytime as the other reviews attest.

Disliked: The Termini Train station area is a bit rough as are all areas around capital city train stations. However, I assume this is reflected in the price. Of course this means that its a short walk when you arrive and the metro (which costs 1 Euro) is very close. As you will probably be trying to cram in as many sites as possible in your time it doesn't matter so much anyway.

Liked: Sabino and his wife were extremely helpful and made us feel right at home. He helped us with any questions we had and gave us some great recommendations. We had to leave before the usual breakfast time so Sabino even got up early to make sure it was ready for us before we left! The room was huge and comfortable.

Disliked: The location is at the back of the train station and the street you walk down to arrive feels quite unsafe, especially if you arrive at night. The general area feels a bit unsafe at night too. Having said that the building is extremely secure and once inside you feel totally safe.

Liked: It was very close to the main train station and easy to find, it was quiet at night, the room was quite big and there's a free breakfast (pastries, juice, tea/coffee and fruit).

Disliked: The owner was nice enough but slightly intrusive we felt - he said he lived in a flat downstairs but always seemed to be in the guesthouse to pop his head around the door when we came back at night (and tell us we had a big day tomorrow as we had to see the Vatican). Not a great place to meet people, there was a "Silence" notice on our door as if it was a monastery. Also we were not told that there was internet available. A minor gripe but we couldn't find a bin in the hall area (where the breakfast tables were) so we had to carry used teabags back to our room.

Liked: Very friendly and helpful host. Everything worked. It provided all we needed.

Disliked: Location does mean extra walking, although not really a problem, plus metro is near by.

Liked: Super happy with Blues BB. Sabino was very friendly and it felt basically like your home. Room got cleaned everyday, location was great. Walking distance to many tourist attractions, supermarket, awesome ice cream shop, metro and train station. Very happy with the accommodation!

Liked: Hosts were wonderful, always around, very helpful. Good internet setup. Great breakfast, wonderful large room with big window. lots of space, chairs, table, etc.Breakfast had three kinds of juices, and awesome coffee, plus some bananas and pastries, maybe the best Roman breakfast of any hostel we tried! The only hostel to actually email us back personally, and the host was there waiting when we arrived. The perfect first hostel. We tried to book again later in our trip, but it was not available again or we'd have taken it in a heartbeat. Sabino, his wife and two lovely children were the perfect hosts. We really lucked out getting ourselves booked here for our first night in Rome. Highly, highly recommended.

Liked: BB Blues is owned by a lovely family who will make you feel welcomed. Our room was large and cleaned daily; the place was very quiet and close to Termini station and Metro stop.

Liked: Owner of this guest house was very helpful and friendly. Place was clean and when window was closed the room was very silent. Own fridge and bathroom were nice to have! Situation is good, railway station and metro are close. Also there is a good grocery shop quite near. Internet was free.

Disliked: Breakfast was quite poor (on the other hand coffee was good!!). There is nothing else bad to say about this guest house. Although there were not many coffeehouses or restaurants near...

Liked: Excellent place to stay!! Sabino and his family are very welcoming and extremely helpful. We had a great stay here. The B&B is very clean and as GREAT value for the money!

Disliked: The only thing that was a slight disadvantage was the location - a bit farther from the main attractions than I would have liked, but it was a quick subway or a 15 minute walk to the Colosseum. I wouldn't let the location deter anyone from staying here.

Disliked: It was not really in the center, but by walk or by metro we didn't have problems. And the proiximity to the train station helped a lot.
