Liked: - Very hospitable staff - Staff know English well and give useful information - Very Quiet after 10 PM - good restaurants and cheap supermarket near - 20 min walking to main train station of Rome (Termini)

Disliked: - Fridge was not cold enough - For air conditioning system you must pay extra 8 euros per night (the fan is OK if it is not very hot!) - No shampoo - No place near the shower to put your soap and shampoo ! - breakfast can be richer! (No cheese or toast ....)

Liked: The host Sabino were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean. There was A/C but it cost 8 euros/night. They had a computer in the main hallway/lobby area and allowed us to use it whenever we wanted it to surf the internet.

Disliked: The breakfast was o.k. The A/C cost 8 euros/night.

Liked: We were very impressed overall with our stay at Blues BB. The room was large and well appointed - nicer than some 'hotels' we've used in the past in other large European cities and far better than some equivalently priced accomodation we've stayed in in Italy or, indeed, than we expected. The owner Sabino was genial and helpful throughout our stay, offering excellent recommendations for restaurants and ice cream parlours and sharing his knowledge and patience to answer even the most mundane of queries; even letting us use his internet so we needn't find a cafe. He really is an asset to his own business. We would recommend the place to friends in similar circumstances looking for friendly, budget accomodation in Rome.

Disliked: Through no fault of its own the property is in a rather unwelcoming corner of Rome. No problem for friends and couples but perhaps to be avoided by lone travellers. We didn't expect any breakfast on our budget but the sugary croissants were still eaten out of duty and to get our money's worth rather than out of enjoyment!

Liked: Travelling by foot, we liked that Blues is about 5 minutes from Termini Station and is situated in a vibrant area of Rome surrounded by affordable amenities. There is a close-by Metro station for the days we were feeling lazy, though really most attractions are within walking distance. Sabino is intimately familiar with the city and gives great advice. The room was immaculate and cleaned daily. Some other reviews have cast doubt on the quality of the accommodation: we found absolutely nothing to complain about.

Disliked: That we couldn't stay longer.

Liked: Sabino is very helpful, not only concerning the accommodation, but also concerning what to visit and where to eat at Rome. You get a free map as well. A real ambassador. Blues BB is very secure, very clean, nice beds, clean bathroom. It's fifteen minutes walk from the Colosseum and couple of metro stations from other places of interest. Free WiFi is a major plus concerning how much it is at a hotel. There's also free DVB TV in the room with around 100 channels.

Disliked: Location is OK for those arriving or leaving, since it's five minutes from Termini station, but the actual neighborhood is nothing to write home about. A bit noisy for people who like to sleep longer. Only sweets for breakfast, a bit strange for our culture of strong breakfasts.

Liked: The owners: as many guests have written on the website Sabino and his family are very nice people. Very helpful. Th neighborhood is not very nice, the hotel is OK, but just because of him and his family I would go there again. Also metro is 300m form the hotel.

Disliked: The neighborhood is as described on the website, not very nice. However almost whole Rome is like that. There many hotels in the area, so I assume this is normal for Rome. If you are comfortable with the neighborhood, that's fine.

Liked: 1. The size of the room. 2. Closeness to Termini- Fumicino connection 3. Safety and security. 4. Proximity to visiting sights.

Disliked: The approach from the Termini station was not clean and the road was narrow and uneven. The fittings in the apartment were coming off and needed repair. Be careful not to have a bath while others are also bathing as the hot water runs out.

Liked: Nice spacious and clean room. Owner is very friendly. It's a small family business so very quiet and secure. Location is quite close to the termini and to the metro but you will have to walk some distance to the attractions. There's an ice cream factory very nearby with very good gelato!

Disliked: Breakfast could include cereal maybe? Breakfast spread could be more varied. Initially the property might be hard to locate because there is no big sign. No internet signal in bedroom but you could go just outside the room to use.

Liked: We enjoyed staying this place so much that we certainly want to stay here again when we come back to Rome in future. Sabino and Luciana always want to make sure we are fine and have no problem during our stay. Location is excellent to go anywhere you want. And the best ice cream shop in Rome is only 3 minute away on foot.

Disliked: Nothing to mention what we dislike.

Liked: Sabino and his wife were awesome :) They were very helpful and kind. It is a family atmosphere hostel, so you are not really going to meet a ton of people (as there are only 4 rooms, but each is private with their own bathroom). I enjoyed the fact that it was small and secure.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Sabino, the breakfast, the room (cause it was big), the amazing gelateria just around the corner. Overall I really liked my stay at Blues B&B.

Liked: The host, Sabino was really friendly and pleasant. He was waiting for us although we have reached quite late at night to the place. Breakfast was great as they have coffees, teas, bread, fruits and juices. We are aware that they cannot serve their own food in Rome but the breakfast was still good. The rooms was big and the toilet was clean. Sabino and his wife cleans the room everyday. Wifi was also available in the room which is AWESOME! Overall, i love my stay here in Rome.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: The staff was very helpful and eager to ensure our comfort. Sabino made a fresh pot of delicious coffee each morning and helped us with our plans for the day. The rooms are clean and comfortable. This family run B&B will make you feel at home.

Disliked: The location is like Rome's China Town - not really a nice neighborhood.

Liked: Sabino and his wife are so lovely, you truly feel that you have arrived at your own family home. They both go completely out of their way to accomadate you. We could never imagined we would find such genuine people who care for our comfort. If you are thinking of staying at B and B then do yourself a favor and book it now, you will not be dissappointed. The rooms are generous for Rome standard, it is quite and away from sirens and traffic yet very close to termini station where trains take you to any destination. I cannot reccomend this place more highly.

Liked: I enjoyed my stay there.I've got more than I expected.It's a good location-many attractions are at the walking distance.It's a clean and good priced place.The owner Sabino is very nice person and speaks English very well.He explained the best routes to get to the main attractions.There is the best gelateria around the corner but I don't remember what is called.

Liked: Good location, very close to the train and metro. Easy to walk to many tourist areas from the hotel. The owner is very nice and extremely friendly and helpful and speaks very good English. Great pizza place on the corner of the square with cheap beer!! And a huge icecream parlour down the street, I didn't get to visit it but it looks amazing!!

Disliked: The breakfast was only average, would have expected a bit more from a B&B but it does the job. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room but thats no big deal.
