Liked: People were very nice who worked there, I had dinner made for me one night even! It rained hard on the morning to catch my train and the metro was down so i had to figure bus schedule out and they were understanding and helped me call a taxi (which I wouldn't suggest, taxi service hung up on me twice when i asked for English). It was clean

Disliked: It was a little difficult to meet people unless you were making something in the kitchen and i didn't feel entirely welcome but it could've just been that it was my first time travelling alone and felt a tad homesick? The staff was short and didn't hang around too much and the maps they provided didn't have the hostel location so I was confused with no one to ask!

Liked: This was the best property we have have ever stayed in! The place was great, but as were the other guests: considerate and quiet when it was time to sleep, but alot of fun to chat and drink wine with as well.

Liked: Very pleasant management, very clean, Grocery store close by. Easy walk to the metro. Nice outside relaxing area. Not for party animals, but clean, safe, and affordable. I will go back, next trip to Rome. Good directions to find it.

Disliked: No internet cafes close by.

Liked: friendly helpfull staff, they drove us to the airport. we were only there for 2 nights really only needed a bed and a shower and thats what it gave us so it was perfect for what we needed. once you get to the closest metro line its really only 15 minutes to get to the main tourist areas

Disliked: try not arrive at night, is not in the best area just a bit scary at night, it was fine though bout 10 to 15 minute walk from the metro, not really a place for meeting people

Liked: All the comforts that a budget traveller needs. The host Francesco is a fantastic guy and will genuinely try to make your stay enjoyable- he was full of good advice, cheer, and warmth- a legend! Despite what other spoilt reviewers may have said, it is very close to attractions via train- like 3 or 4 stops from the Colosseum etc. We stayed out late every night and got trains back- no troubles at all! STAY HERE!!

Disliked: That people think it is too far from the city- you're joking, right??!

Liked: The hostel itself is very nice with a home-like atmosphere. However, what is the kindness and friendliness of the owner, Franceso and co. I faced some big problem while in Itlay and had to stay in Rome longer than planned, Francesco was very understanding and let I and my friend stay longer than we had booked. I know we must have messed up his guest reservation schedule and room arrangemnt but he was more than kind to put us up for more nights right away.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: This was a great place to stay. The rooms were big and the ensuite bathrooms were also big and clean. The owners were also very friendly and helpful. There was a shared living room, kitchen and dining room and guests could use all the facilities, including 24-hrs wifi and a PC for those with no laptops.

Disliked: It's a bit far from the tourist sites of Ancient Rome or the Vatican, but by Metro it is near the Colosseum. The Metro station is a few blocks away from the hostel, but it's an easy walk and the neighborhood is safe.

Disliked: Wasn't fun at all... No lokers.

Liked: I liked our manager and his girlfriend. They were friendly and made you feel welcome.

Liked: Our dorm room had a deck with a washing rack. Close to the metro and supermarket.

Disliked: There were no lockers to keep your belongings safe. Only two bathrooms for over 20 people. There was never any toilet paper, which was unhygienic and easily remedied. Very limited kitchen supplies. The fridge broke down and we weren't informed it was put outside to defrost with all of our food in it. The staff were never available, even when you rang the bell. It seemed like you were a hindrance when you asked questions. It wasn't very clean and I'm not sure that they even had a cleaner. The rubbish bins were outside and the door was locked night until very late morning so there was no where to put your rubbish in the morning.

Liked: -it wasnt expensive.

Disliked: -Booked 5 bed dorm and put into 6bed. -Owner had no idea of our details on arrival asked what beds we booked, how much i thought i should pay, how many nights we needed. -No security, needed key to access from the street however once in building the doors all open, has number code to enter for doors to each floor however doors open without any code so no real point having it. Owner enters room randomly throughout day without knocking. No lockers in dorm. dorms link via balcony so no security in rooms. -Fridge broke and replaced twice during our stay however our food (and other peoples) was left out of the fridge and no one was told they broke or that food wasnot in a fridge anymore. -very small kitchen and very limited facilities only 1 guest at a time can cook -no air con in dorms so need windows/ balcony door open and street below very noisy.

Liked: Good Showers, Cleanish, good location

Disliked: The staff, i found we had no privacy from them, at one point i was in a room with 5 other girls and it was 9.30/10 oclock at night and the owner(? i think) decided to walk into our room, no knocking or anything. I was also in an unusual situation in that i didnt know how long i wanted to stay and he said it was fine until one afternoon he told me i didnt have a bed to stay in that night...i had to find a new hostel and book it half an hour before i had to go to work, surely he could have told me a little more in advance. I also got eaten alive by bed bugs...

Liked: Everything, really enjoyed staying here. Staff really lovely, free internet, tea, coffee, good showers and lovely courtyard.

Liked: owner was very friendly and helpful, atmosphere was lively as well. Room came with a balcony that overlooked the streets, it was a great place to sit and unwind after a long day of sightseeing the wonders of rome.

Disliked: the noise coming from the streets was awful at some points, the motors and especially garbage trucks that sit right outside while trying to sleep put a damper on what was an otherwise nice stay.

Liked: There's a great caretaker, Francesco, he's very friendly and has advice for the city. The place is clean, has a patio out back, and there's free cereal in the morning. It's also only a few blocks from a metro line, which is pretty good for Rome.

Disliked: It was a little boring. The hostel is kind of small, so there aren't a lot of people there, and the patio (understandably) gets closed at 11 to avoid noise complaints.
