Liked: I extended my stay 3 or 4 times here. Depends what you are looking for. Low price meant I could stay longer and enjoy some days by the pool and at the beach. Beds are in tents, so keep your expectations in perspective. Commute to Rome not too bad, but you should want to be in countryside too. Lacks cooking facilities. Some staff pleasant, others not so. Main problem is they need to fix a booking system which prevented them accepting new bookings on holidays... (and other administrative inefficiencies of the sort.)

Liked: great camping place. having a nice relaxing pool and location is nice on a long trip. Location is about 1hr + away from any rome attractions so that was a bummer. but the place was great and at the right place.

Liked: Two problems: (1) A bunch of German teenagers having vociferous fun each night between 1 and 3 a.m. right next door. No way to turn their volume down, and (2) the bathroom artifacts (inlcuding its door) did not quite fit...

Liked: It was great. Nice big pool and bars so you don't have to travel to town at night. They offer all kinds of services. I was actually surprised they had so many amenities that they didn't list on the website. I would stay there again.

Liked: Need to stay for a few nights so you can do everything on offer and still see Rome. Had a wide age range with alot of people around 16 staying there also families. Supermarket isnt too expensive which is good.

Liked: Great place to stay if you have longer than a few days and dont really want to go into Rome, as it is a LONG way away, shuttle then 2 trains, and if you miss the connection it can take nearly 2 hours, not fun. If you like drinking, partying, sun and swimming, bike riding etc this is for you!

Liked: Good things of the property:+ Bus shuttle to the beach, trainstation and airports of Rome+ Large swimmingpool+ Many facilities: restaurant, internet, entertainment, pizza take a way, supermarketThinks you have to know:- The beds in the bungalows are terrible- It's more a place for youngsters (age 13-18)-It's NOT a proberty you use if you only visit Rome for 3 days, because it's takes about a hour to reach Rome

Liked: It was like going to Africa. The only thing missing was the machine guns. The beach was great and we enjoyed going to float in the mediterannean for two days. Our private room was private except for the fact that we could hear the mother tear into her son in the bathroom in the adjoining suite and so presumably they could hear every sound we made in the bathroom in their suite as well. The restaurant was good. The pool was good. The supermarket was good although limited in what they had available and there was no other resource available. The internet required you to hike half a kilometer to the places that had wi-fi and computers.

Liked: To see Rome for a comparativley low price this is a good alternative. Communication was by and large satisfying to Rome, with busses and trains. Castelfusano has its main and only strong point there.The staff need to improve their capabilitites however, very important, both in terms of languages (in a camping like this some knowledge of English should be required) and even to do just basic and regular services on any quality level. As long as that is not improved upon considerably Country Club Castelfusano remains an unrecommended place to stay for other travelers.

Liked: Would describe it as a Butlins on the outskirts of Rome and with a beach, as such it was mainly dominated by teenagers and families but it was a lot of fun and excellent value for money. Just not really the type of place to take friends who are over 20.

Liked: part of the club is reserved for families or older folks, but there are always very big groups of youngers people aswell, particularly from germany. it's a great place to meet other people and you can easily stay for some time without getting bored with the park. getting to rome takes a while but then again it's only 1 euro so who cares. only crappy thing is the beach, it's disgusting. all in all a good place to have fun.

Liked: One of the weirdest places i've ever stayed in!Hordes of VERY young (and very beautiful) Germans on their summer camping holiday. And it's "you can look, but you can't touch" which makes all of us dirty old horny bastards just tormented. (They really are young...) ;DThis is just a very large camping area, lots of summer cottages as well with people living there with their plasma TV's and couple of tents thrown in for a good measure :DIF you're VERY lucky (like me - I met some Hungarians at the shuttle bus-stop), you can meet some other fellow travellers, but don't count on that.This really is a good option only if you like to go to the beach (which is very nice one, tho'), 'cos it's quite near that (some 45 mins. from the city centre) AND if you're a broke ass son of a bitch ('cos this is cheap), but then dont go to Rome at all, 'cos it is a VERY expensive city. (But well worth that - I love Rome to the death! The best place I've ever been to!)Transportation to and from the beach/city is not that smooth at all and it's too far to go by foot, so you will feel a bit imprisoned here...

Liked: i liked the fact it was really cheap for travellers and it was fairly easy to get into and from Rome. i also thought that having a fridge in the cheapest accomadation was absolutely brilliant as it meant me and my friend could buy lots of food and it wont go off in the scorching heat!!

Liked: Its a real nice place if you want to spend a few days away from the city, in nature. BUT not the right place if you want to see ROME. If your ain is to see ROME and somewhere to sleep, then look for something more central . But the place is really nice if you want to be away from rome and city life
