Liked: AMAZING. huge rooms and lounge areas. they have a cinema in their basement! Right on the beach. it was awesome. the management were great people. it was one of the better places i've stayed in.

Liked: Large rooms. Private bath in room. Clean. Great staff!!!

Disliked: Kinda far from Rome. Takes about 1.5 hours to get to station.

Liked: Rooms spacious, beds comfortable. Excellent cleanliness, and hostel very safe. The staff are absolutely outstanding, helpful and friendly and go out of their way to make your stay at the Litus Roma a great experience.

Liked: Nice and clean and they make the best cappuccino ever for only 90cents! Just beware that the beds are really narrow. The town of Lido is nice and the beach is pretty cool, without being too touristy. Traveling to Rome does take time (about an hour), but the subway was very reliable when we were there. Overall, I liked this hostel, because it was easy enough to go to Rome, but we still had the opportunity to escape the big city and just chill at the beach.

Liked: Good place but very far from the sights of Rome. Need to take a 40min metro (stops working at 11:20) and 15 min walk. If you are fine with not going to the nightlife in Rome and the commute time highly recommended.

Liked: I liked how friendly and helpful the staff were at meeting all of our needs and wants and then going beyond that to help us find a night club and offering candies to us and other guests throughout our stay. I could not believe how large the hostel was with more than one entertainment room, a cinema room, and a bar area. I was happy this hostel was equipped with an elevator. I enjoyed the continental breakfast with fresh juices, cake, toast, fruit, cereral, tea, etc. The only complaint I have about this hostel would be the location from the center of Rome and the outskirts of the location's borders, but they have certainly learned to make up for it and you can enjoy the beach while you are not in Rome.

Liked: It was a ways from central Rome but had a great location next to the water. The room we stayed in was huge and the bathroom was very roomy. There were lots of neighboring restaurants but the side streets were a bit shady late at night. We stayed there since we had a morning flight out and if we had of tried to stay in the city we would not have made our flight due to the three hour wait to get through customs. Not the easiest to get to, but great if you are staying there for more than a night

Liked: In Litus you can do several things, like, play table tennis, pool, watch a movie in the Cinema they have, wash your clothes... But its really far from Rome's center.

Liked: Staff were extremely nice, and the rooms were quite big. The hostel is right across the street from the sea, which was very nice. Not a good location for exploring rome though

Liked: very nice staff, big room, and good breakfast. Good overall value if you don't mind being a ways out of Rome. It must be a great place in the summer when its hot out!

Liked: Staff were extremly friendly and helpful, arranged transport at all hours of the day and night for our group. Only real downside is distance from Rome city-center, however, a short walk (or bus) to the nearest train station - and it's about 45 min/1Euro to travel there.

Liked: It was right on the beach! , and a cheap trip (1 euro, bout 40mins) into the centre of Rome to see the sights. helpful staff, lovely area at night.

Liked: Went here in September and the place was really dead (end of the beach season.) Was a little bit expensive for what you get but during the summer it seems like it would be a really nice place to meet people. Basically right on the beach and really close to Fiumicino Airport but really far from Ciampino Airport, so if you need to leave for a flight before 11-12 you must get up really early to make it on time.

Liked: Our room had a view of the Ocean and was right outside the beach. We even had a tv. Near a lot of food places including a nice pizza shop around the corner. Internet is available, there is also a payphone.

Liked: Staff extremely helpful when my baggage was delayed, and with giving info about sites and services. Room large, comfortable, clean and secure, although there was only a fan so it was quite stuffy. Breakfast OK quality, good variety. Location OK - I was only here for the start of my visit to Rome; I visited the Isola Sacra necropolis and Ostia Antica and it was very handy for those. For a long trip focused on the centre of Rome it wouldn't be so great. Travel time a bit misleading - took me an hour to get from the hostel to Termini waiting no longer than a minute or two for bus/train/metro.
