Liked: i really liked that they had free large locker drawers to use. Very handy & big enough for my large backpack. They also have free laptop use & internet. Its super close to the central train station in Rome which was a major plus. The little cafe where you get free coffee is the only down side. The staff is REALLY rude & clearly doesn't like backpackers.

Liked: The socialising part. The bar downstairs is perfect for meeting people and this was very helpful for me as I was travelling alone! Rooms were reasonably clean and staff very helpful.

Liked: It was nice that they had a bar here to hang out and meet people. The staff was by no means the friendliest that we have come across traveling but they weren't horrible either. It is expensive, but not for Rome, and compared to other hostels there I think it is a good choice.

Liked: Great location close to Rome Termini, friendly and helpful staff, the bar area is great for meeting people, breakfast is delicious and affordable, the tours are well attended & fun. Overall a good hostel if you're looking to socialize.

Liked: A really good location, near to the old town, a train station and a underground station. The bar is clean and cool, but the beer is expencive. The internet is really really slow.

Liked: We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere of the hostel and found that the staff were helpful and fun. There is plenty of opportunity to meet other travellers in the hostel bar and is a great hostel for younger people.

Liked: The place is nice... i especially liked the bar. They serve a good Piña Colada and yummy breakfast.The room i stayed in was okay, though the airconditioner isn't working that well and pretty loud. The showers were dirty and old, but in an acceptable state!Nevertheless, it's a good place to stay for some nights : )

Liked: Rome was the worst city that I went in Europe. The people is so unbred!!! So, the hostels couldn't to be good....But The Yellow is ok for Rome.

Liked: Great location near Termini station and really friendly staff. If you get a room on the 5th (bit of a climb and the lift is small) floor you are right next to the clean and well equiped bathrooms. Beds are good but their system for renting laptops is awful, I waited nearly 2 hours unsuccessfully. You are better off using an internet laundrette (there are two close by) but apart from that a good hostel. Plus, loads of good places to eat literally next door.

Liked: It was close to the train station but further than we would have liked from everything else. A cool set up, the rooms were sufficient and big although a little plain. Bathrooms definitely could have been cleaner but the rooms were clean. Its really big so the staff was used to dealing with all questions in a helpful manner

Liked: The rooms were very spacious and clean with a private bathroom. The Yellow is just five minutes from the train station, so it has a truly central location; you can walk everywhere. The only downside is that it is not a fun hostel. It is not very social and it is hard to meet other people. They do have a bar attached to the hostel, but it is not very upbeat or fun.

Liked: taking the subway from Castro-Pretorio is much closer than walking until Termini. definitely recommended, clean and friendly.

Liked: They have a bar which has 10 euro bottles of decent wine as well as beer pong and wifi. Good place to just hang out. They staff is also super helpful. This is a great place to stay.

Liked: bring shower shoes for the bathroom, it can be a little gross at times. other than that this was a perfect hostel! good location, bar right downstairs, free wi fi, can borrow a laptop and first 30 minutes use are free. staff is very helpful as well
