Customer reviewLocation + great staff (esp Jesse, Tony) made my trip wonderful. Thx Jesse for coordinating with airlines to find my lost luggage till found it - really appreciated. One thing need to be fixed is about the hot water as now with very low pressure. The other facilities were in good as this is new hostel. Recommend to stay here if you want a place to sleep with short walk from the metro & train station. |

Deirdre RedmondI stayed here at the start of May and it was fine. The hostel was very clean and though the bathroom floor was contstantly being soaked by guests it was cleaned very regularly. The bathrooms however could do with some updating. The hostel try to blame the state of the bathrooms on it being an old building but that would only account for bad plumbing and slow flushing, neither of which I noticed to be a problem. The bathroom fittings are in dire need of some updating. Even a pole for the shower heads would help!! This is broken in most of the showers and so you have to hold the shower head over yourself to wash. There are also queues for the bathrooms, though you can use any of the hostel bathrooms, there are no separate showers or even sinks so if you need to use the bathroom at peak times you could be waiting. Besides the bathrooms needing updating though I found the 6 bed dorm bright and airy. A little noisy at times because of the busy streets outside but nothing that kept me awake. A mirror in the rooms wouldn't go amis.. this might help with the bathroom waiting times. It's location is extremely handy for the Teravision bus to Ciampino Airport and the Metro station (both across the road). There is no kitchen in the hostel so if you are on a budget or are tired of eating out this would be inconvenient but I was happy to eat lots of delicious Italian food! So, Pros: Location, cleanliness Cons: minimal facilities, few/badly fitted bathrooms. |
