Liked: bathroom was shared but only between two rooms and was clean. private room with twin bed was great value at under 27 euro over the weekend. location across the road from termini is extremely helpful

Disliked: no bar, no common area. breakfast is crappy. but the room was still good value

Liked: Staff were very friendly and willing to help. It had a great atmosphere.

Disliked: There was a door that led to the rooms and it was so noisy, we were constantly being woken up by it.

Liked: The location of the hostel is excellent - just across from the train station and there is a supermarket and cheap places to eat on the same street. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The absence of a curfew is good, particularly in a city like Rome. It is very clean and the showers are excellent - hot water all day. There are lockers in the rooms and thick windows so no noise from the street is heard at night.

Disliked: Unfortunately it's not a big place so the only common area is near the reception where there is a couch and tv. You will really only get a chance to meet people from your own room/dorm.

Liked: Great location, but that is all.....

Disliked: I suspected that there is bed bug, no lockers in the room and lockers in the common room are badly damage. Elevator does not always work and it's a pain to carry your suitcase to a second floor where the lobby is, good thing another guest helped me and when I asked the guy from the lobby (you know who you are), he gave me an attitude before dragging my suitcase for another floor...not the best customer service. Breakfast is only a croissant and a glass of juice/coffee/tea but at least there's breakfast.

Liked: It is supper close to the train station and resturants... Tour buses and airport couches are right out side the door!....

Disliked: This place definately needs air conditioning...! It was hot in the rooms and as a result we opened up the windows.... Lots of street noice kept me awake!

Liked: Friendly atmosphere from the first minute, reception is a good place to socialize with other people staying at the hostel. Perfect location, near all needed transport - buses, metro, bus to airport, termini..

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Liked: Veyr close to the station which is good. Breakfast is included (croissant and coffee). We stayed in a private room which was clean and nice. Had airconditioning and a TV.

Disliked: One of the staff members had trouble speaking English. She explained every sightt in Rome for us to see before we could stop her to say we were there for a stop over and not to see touristy things.

Disliked: NOT ENOUGH FANS!!!!! Way to hot in summer and could not sleep because there were no fans to spread the air around, also, tiny beds made lots of noise as you move

Liked: Fantastic easy location right opposite the main train station

Disliked: Being right opposite the station meant that it was incredibly noisy. It was also very hot as there is no air conditioning. As it has no bar it's not a very social hostel. I had a lot of bother with my key and the locks.

Liked: The staff was extremely friendly to me and I met a lot of people around my age (21) who were traveling around Europe, just like me. I also found the location extremely convenient because it was next to the Rome Termini and so from there you could go anywhere in Rome. Plus, the Termini is where you pick up your international trains. I also liked the fact that they had free breakfast. That was nice.

Disliked: It was extremely hot when I stayed in Italy in general, so you should expect it to be that way in the summer. Therefore, we had to keep the windows open and the street noise sometimes got loud. However, this was only minor and the only real problem I had.

Liked: greeeeat staff, nice location, very near to the station. clean bathrooms big restrooms, funny paintings on the walls, and has elevator. very nice! best hostel I've been to.

Liked: Close to train station to carry bags.

Disliked: We were told we had to move rooms after double booking meant other people were in our beds, after talking to 4 other groups of travellers they all had to do the same thing. The staff didnt even realise people were in our beds, we had to go and tell them 3 hours after checking in and the lady at reception just laughed, then went to give us another room that didnt have enough beds. There was only 1 shower and toilet per floor of four rooms.

Liked: wash room

Disliked: they promise a 4 people dorm room for our 4 girl, but there were 5 beds in that room when we arrived, and they said it is written in website, i dont like their way of working. this kind of thing also happened at the last night of our stay... we were disappointed . and about the breakfast, just one drink and one bread. not as good as we thought.

Liked: Free wireles, very handy for iphone. Pluss free coffee and pastry at a near by cafe.

Disliked: Is on a busy main road that is very noisy at night (cars, lorries, hooting horns etc) The only other option is to shut the window but then you sweat your a*rse off. Also paid for a 4 bed dorm, but on night 2 a random bed just turned up in the middle of the room. It was now a 5 bed with no space! They didn't appologise about this. Also a member of staff was very rude to my friend who was staying there.

Liked: Wonderful location. Staff was pretty nices. Charge for internet. MY room key was not working the first night I was there and had to get the staff to unlock my door everytime. I lost my roomkey and was charged 10euros, which was my own fault, but would not have happened if it was working and I would have brought with me everywhere. VERY FEW BATHROOMS. During peak hours in the morning all of them were full and I had to wait 20minutes. Approx. 3 rooms (12 people) share 1 bathroom. THe shower in one of them was not working well and I had to bathe in cold shower 2 nights before I was smarter to use another bathroom. Clean place. WOuld recommend if time is an issue because it is very very convenient. But would suggest looking into further and cheaper places with better facilities if you have some time to spare.
